Little sister [Zoro x F!reader]

ZOROS POV

Holding on her torso, keeping it from the ground, she looks like she was kneeling and then I hugged her, but she was not.

It all happened in a second, her bare back are now purple, blood weasels completely visible.

The rain was slowly falling,  the wind was grazing us and the sound of Namis trees with a mixture of crushing waves was for a second only noise.

Soon the light turned on, Nami came out of the girls room, and I could hear the guys climbing up from their beds.

Just as I was going to pick her body up, a slight electric tingle shook my right arm, the one that was holding her bare shoulder. My hand, on reflex, let her go and she fell in front of me. Her right shoulder first, than her head, the fall wasn't big but it still scared me, after all Kuina fell and died, no matter what I do not want to see anyone die like that.

As I was going to lift her up Sanji poked his stupid swirly brow out of the room.

"What happened?" Nami was already on her way with hands a little in front of her, she probably saw me letting her fall and reached out even tho she could never make it.

"OI!" The cook was now completely out and Luffy was probably next, how will I ever explain this to him, she was right by my side and I let this happen to her.

"What have you done to her?" That cook is really annoying "what did you do? Oi! Answer me!"

"It sounded like a thunder strike."Well at least this one is not yelling at me.

"She was just going to bed, and- and- and she just fell down, the lightning was dead on her. I have- I have no idea how did that happened."

Luffy came, he just knelled down beside her, never have I seen this face on him, shock, or disbelief... He touched her shoulder and shook it, and shook it, and he kept shaking her. It's so hard to watch and it's my fault. 

Usopp was coming closer too.

"Rain is getting stronger, we should take her somewhere inside." He was surprisingly calm. "Luffy you take her, if we try to touch her we will get socked by the electricity she has pent up in her body, rubber doesn't carry the electricity..."

"But maybe if we all get a bit electrocuted she will be good, like it will get out of her." I tried.

"No, she will be fine..." Usopp was really too, too calm.  Rain is getting stronger.

Luffy took ______ and carried her in the room, on her bed. "I'll stay here tonight." Not a single person told him anything, everyone left the room. Nami stayed in her room.

I didn't sleep for the whole night.

Rain stopped in the middle of the rain and I went on the crows nest. I don't know what to do, I was supposed to protect her, she was right there. Why didn't the lightning get me, my swords? That would be normal... right...

MY POV

The first rays of the morning sun started to peek out of the blue wavy covers.

The black-haired girl was slowly waking up with a smell of meat mixed with tangerines and money. Luffy and Nami were sound asleep when your eyes opened, looking at the ceiling. With an wolf-like hunger you swung up and on your way to the kitchen.

The kitchen was quiet for now, you concluded that everyone was still asleep and just took whatever food was close to you. This kind of hunger happened only once, when you were little and just started to get working on your healing. The tied guests on the floor were sleeping in what must be the most uncomfortable position, but they were probably too tired.

As you were looking around for more food that wasn't locked the bottle crashed outside, it fell, from the crows nest. You went up there, only one person can be awake at this hour, only one person would be up in the crows nest now, only one person in this crew is drinking in the morning, Zoro.

You got out and up, up, up, to the crows nest. He was there, sitting with head on his chest.

"You didn't sleep at all?" your voice was loud when not even waves were making noise. His head snapped up, looking at you, shocked.

"You-you are... you were... but...how?"

"What do you mean? I was sleeping...?"

"You don't remember?"

"What do you mean?" You climbed in the crows nest, and sat down, Zoro waited before he told his story.

"We were eating and another storm was starting so we decided to go to sleep, but as you were going you were struck by lightning and the most terrific sound and you just fell. You also wouldn't wake up no matter what and Luffy then carried you to the room, Usopp said that you would electrify us if we try it, I don't know." He wasn't looking at you all that much, one of his hands was in his hair and another was on his knee.

"Well I'm fine now, nothing changed, I don't feel anything different except the hunger tho." You get that he is feeling guilty, but you didn't know why and even if you did you were never good at comforting people around you.

You tried to touch his hand as a reassurance but as soon as you barely grazed him he flinched, which ended up with you flinching as well...and grabbing him. Because of that he was socked even more. You let him go and his hands were up in the air, Zoro was smoking a little.

"So-Sorry, I need to learn to control it." You looked at him, he was at least now looking at you too.

"What happened to your eyes?"

"What do you mean?"

"They have a yellow circle in them... in the (e/c) part. You sure you are fine? Your vision?"

"I can see everything fine, like yesterday... nothing changed, well nothing changed for me."

"________!!!" Luffys voice was heard and everyone was up and ready.

"Yes?" you went down from the crows nest, Zoro jumped down.

"What did you do now, Marimo?!?" Sanji was in his face

"I'm fine, the electricity is still in me but my body is perfectly fine. I'll try to get this out of me, but for that I'm gonna have to learn to control it, for now don't touch me, otherwise I'll electrify you."

Soon the whole new game plan was constructed. You will be left alone most of the time to learn and control the lightning, the Cactus Island was close. Wednesday talked to you most of the day, while you tried to just shot it out.

"I just can't seem to get it, it won't come out if I'm not socking anyone."

"Maybe you can find it and then somehow pushed it out?"

"Hmm?"

"Hahahah that sounds like you need to poo, I'm sorry" she was laughing her ass off.

"This is the first time you laught since I now you!" You were very excited because of it she was wipping off her tears.

"I don't remember the last time I had so much fun, you all really are nice people and incredibly fun." She was now talking more and more, even when people don't ask her anything, she was slowely getting more relaxed.

Soon you were sitting down, meditating... with a few giggles here and there. You didn't want this to end, the next island was too close and your new friend was going to stay there, with her family and you need to go, there is that one thing you need to do.

You knew, you need to get stronger, your wings, healing and air control won't be enough, you need more. Maybe if you put lightning in the mix?
