It suddenly wont allow me to do lyric videos so you can look the song up yourself.
"Strong Enough" by Matthew West is a song that has helped my parents mainly through a lot.
It talks about how, on our own, we aren't strong enough, but with God all things are possible.
He says in the song, "I know I'm not strong enough," then later, "Lord right now I'm asking you to be strong enough."
My family is a foster family, which is a whole lot more stressful than you realize before you actually experiance it. It has changed my family for life and this song sends a great message and has especially encouraged my parents throught the tougher times.
We would not be able to do this on our own, but we can do all things through him who gives us strength. Let that be your prayer tonight. Let God know that you are aware that you don't have the strength, and that you appreciate him helping you through it.
If you try to exclude God from the tough parts in your life today then that needs to change, because let me tell you that you aren't strong enough, but by goodness he sure is!
Verse of the Day:
Phillipians 4:13
"I can do all this through him who gives me strength."
This verse is stated directly in the bridge of the song, "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength and I don't have to be strong enough."
Its ok to ask for help. In fact, God wants us to. So why don't we? Just something to think about.
