Traitor?

Izuku"Where even are we?" I asked, looking around.
"We just crossed the border into Alberta. Next town we get to I'll check the map and call Ellie to see if their still in Calgary. If so, we can head there and meet up with them." Tara replied, and I nodded.
After awhile, I was getting tired and suggested we stop.
"Sure, let's take a break. There are some apple trees nearby, I'll go get some food." She nodded, and ran off.
I decided not to follow her, so I sat down on the grass.
She came back a few minutes later, with a bunch of apples in her arms, including one in her mouth. She dropped them on the ground, and pulled the one out of her mouth.
"I found a whole bunch of them, not exactly a feast but it's better then nothing, right?" She grinned, closing her eyes.
"Thanks a lot Tara!" I smiled at at, picking up an apple and biting into it.
"No problem. Anyway, I was thinking we should stay here for the night. It's getting late." She pointed towards the sun, which was starting to dip behind the mountains.
"Alright." I nodded, "Should we make a fire?"
"Probably not, it could set the grass on fire." She replied, sitting down, "Besides, it's not cold. We'll be fine."
I nodded.
"Can I know more about your quirk?" I asked suddenly, curiosity hitting me. I didn't know much about it.
"My quirk?" She asked, tilting her head slightly. I nodded excitedly.
"Well, it's really simple honestly. Telekinesis is the ability to move things through your mind. That's what my quirk is. I have 10 000 pound weight limit, going beyond could cause me to lose control of what I'm holding, and drop it. I also get a headache if I use it too much." She explains, "Oh, and I have to keep my left eye closed if I'm not using it. Otherwise random things might start floating, but it also doesn't work with my left eye closed so it has to be open when I am using it."
"So it only works with your left eye open, but you have to actively focus on it to stop random things from floating..." I mumbled, mentally taking notes of what she told me.
"Midoriya?" She asked suddenly.
"Huh?" I blinked, and looked at her.
"You're mumbling." She stated, and I flushed.
"Oh! Sorry! It's an old habit..." I sighed a little, rubbing the back of my neck.
"Don't apologize, it's not a bad thing to be smart. You were mumbling about what I told you, I'm guessing that helps you remember."
I nodded.
The sun continued to go down, and nobody said anything as we both laid down on our backs. I realized, throughout the whole trip, she'd been really quiet, which was kind of strange.
"Hey Tara?"
"Yeah?"
"How come you've been so quiet during this trip?"
She hesitated.
"I'm just worried about Kara."
"You hesitated."
