The next week, we went back to searching. Everyone was split up again, but it was more organized, and everyone had a way to contact each other if something happened.
Because of the incident last week, Tara, and Kaminari had to stay behind. Tsuyu was still sick, so she stayed too. Uraraka had immediately afterward volunteered to take care of her, but Hawkins said no.
That was kind of strange to me, I knew they were best friends, but I also knew Uraraka wanted to help.
Anyway, everyone else was split into groups of three and with the help of a friend of Hawkins, teleported to different locations again. I was with Ellie. We were in Montreal.
"Midoriya and Ellie? You two made it safely?" Hawkins asked over the radio.
"Yeah, we did," I reply.
"You guys are in Montreal, right?" Uraraka asked.
"Yep, guess I'm playing translator." Ellie sighed, rubbing the side of her head.
"What do you mean?" Todoroki asked.
"Most of Quebec speaks French," Kara explained. Everyone is on the channel, including those staying behind, "I hope you speak French..."
"Uraraka, Todoroki, did you make it to Quebec City?" Hawkins asked.
"Yes," Todoroki replied.
"Do either of you speak French?" Tara asked.
"Not fluently, but I can." Todoroki said.
"Kirishima and I are in Sherbrooke," Kara said.
"Alright, those three cities are fairly close together, so if anything goes wrong don't hesitate to call for help. Do not engage any villains in combat. We're only here to look for Bakugo and Pearl," Aizawa said, "and if any of you die I won't be happy about the paperwork."
"Is that your way of saying good luck?" Kirishima asked.
"Yep," Hawkins sighed, "just start looking."
Everyone got quiet. I turned off my microphone and turned to Ellie.
"Where should we start?" I asked.
"Let's ask around, you keep an eye out for anything suspicious." She replied, walking towards a random person.
"Excusez-moi, avez-vous vu une grande blonde cendrée aux cheveux hérissés et une grande fille aux cheveux couleur corbeau dont les cheveux couvraient son œil gauche?" Ellie asked.
