₊˚.༄ EXTENDED SUMMARY. leah hopper had always hated her birthday. mostly because her dad never got to celebrate it with her. he would always promise her that they'd do something special for it but he always ended up calling saying that he was sorry and that he'd make it up to her. eventually she stopped getting her hopes up and just sat on the couch, in her pajamas and watched disney movies, such as peter pan, pinocchio, fantasia, and so many others while eating ice cream and waiting for her dad to come home. when she was about fourteen years old she met jonathan byers. she thought he was. . . odd, in his own special way that made him amazing. and he was the only one that seemed to care about her birthday,after all she stopped caring when she was ten.

─ leah is a HUGE disney nerd, just thought i should point that out
─ so i mean i guess eleven doesn't get the concept of birthdays or something. but anyway,, always promises her that he'll be home so they could go to dinner or get cake or something and he never is. and she's used to it, and now just curls up on the couch and watches peter pan while binge eating
─ jonathan always comes over and always tries to get her to celebrate or do something. just do something other than wallowing while watching disney movies, but. . . she's stubborn so she always sayz no and continues eating. and he eventually joins her too
─ her and nancy aren't the closest,, nancy is a little jealous of her since her jonny are so close but she tries not to let it show, but leah can tell so she always tells jonathan to spend time with his girlfriend, lovingly of course so it's not like she doesn't wanna see him
─ jonathan could bring nancy to one of her wallowing sessions. ( also she does this all the time, not just on her birthday, she loves wallow and eat ice cream all day ) and she's just like 'welcome to my wallow sessions'.
─ also jonathan has always had a secret crush on her, one that he doesn't even know about, that's how secret it is. but when they're alone you can obviously see it, how they act with eachother
─ also jonathan drives her to work and places.
─ leah actually follows her dad's rules and doesn't eat boys' faces off like her sister. leah always teases el about mike and always bothers them when he's over because she thinks it's hilarious.
─ she also sees mike as a brother but will not hesitate to murder him if he ever hurts el. let's just say that mike is EXTREMELY scared of leah.
─ since leah is older and when mike & el are there she always tells them that they can have the door shut but if el gets pregnant then she'll kill both of them. then tells mike to use condoms which leaves el confused and has an awkward mike.

─ also joyce loves her, like loves her and always gets her a present for her birthday. joyce is like a mother figure and since she didn't have hers she went to joyce about everything ( girl wise ) but never told her about her small teeny tiny crush on jonathan even tho joyce knew
─ she's really close with will, and always says that he's more fun to hangout with than jonathan. leah also likes braiding his hair, since it's longer than jonathan's and he actually lets her. sometimes she just walks to the byers house to hangout with will and if he's not there then she helps joyce out
─ she hated steve but now they're friends. she was actually with steve when billy beat the shit out of him and helped him take care of the kids. and as a joke they always say that they're married and that they have so many kids. even some of the kids call leah mom. nobody calls steve dad tho, and he gets jealous
─ all the kids love her, dustin and lucas had a crush on her when they were younger and she always joins max and eleven when they have sleepovers
─ anyway basically maybe nancy breaks up with jonathan bc she can tell that they both have feelings for eachother. and when jonathan goes to say that she doesn't like her like that he can't even get the sentence out.
