He did what?!

I woke up the next day, today was gonna suck. Everyone would be pitying me and wishing me well. I decided to not put on makeup to make it more believable that I was upset. I didn't tuck in my shirt and left it all baggy. I messily fixed up my hair in my normal hairstyle. I stepped out of my room and my mom and dad hugged me. Even our cat and kitten were more clingy than normal. We had a really old cat that Mom and Dad had gotten when they were in high school, we also just got another cat last year. I pet them gently as I ate my breakfast. I ate it quickly and rushed out of my house. Erin was outside waiting for me, we were gonna be late and he was waiting for me! When he saw me he rushed up to me and hugged me, "I'm so sorry Nao, I know you and Breeze were good friends. I had no idea that she was depressed... ."
"Yeah neither did I... ," he basically picked me up and started walking; Turning my whole face red. "W-we're going to be late... ."
"We'd be later if I had to walk at your pace you slowpoke."
"True... ," I lied my head down and just let him carry me. He sat me down right in front of the gate you had to go through if you're late. The gym teacher opened the gate and sent us to counselor to get our late slips. Normally she gave late students detention, but she excused it depending on our situation. We thanked her and walked out of the room, right before we started walking opposite directions I grabbed his sleeve. "I wanna meet you after school so meet me beside the front of the school. Wait next to our lunch tree," he nodded quickly. We had a certain tree that we ate our lunch at everyday. I then turned and rushed to class, of course everyone started apologizing for "my loss" little did they know I'm the damn reason she's dead. I thanked them with fake sadness and started writing a poem in my notebook.

I was sitting at the tree and waiting for Erin. He was being way to slow. Where is he?! I saw his figure running towards me and I stood up quickly. I had put makeup on right before this so I didn't look like a tired demon when I said this. He came up to me and hugged me. I smiled and sat down. I took a deep breath and looked up at him. "I have something I wanna tell you... ," He looked at me questioningly.
"Well I guessed that, or else you wouldn't have asked me to come here," I smiled.
"That's true I guess, anyway I wanted to tell you....... ," I glanced around nervously then took another deep breath, "I like you! I've always liked you, ever since we were little! I was so happy with you and I always have been......I know that all that stuff that happened with Dove and you might not be over it so if you're not, I'll give you time. I'll wait, but please just tell me you at least in some way feel the same... ," I looked into his eyes pleadingly. He looked completely shocked.
"I...Of course I like you! But I'm just scared that you'll get hurt just like the other two girls that liked me did... ," he seemed really upset.
"You know I can defend myself, I'm almost the strongest student in school. I could walk into the martial arts club and beat the leaders ass if I wanted too! Don't be scared, I can defend myself," I didn't dare mention I was the reason that happened.
"I know and you're right, I guess I just haven't gotten over what happened to Dove and Breeze. But as soon as I can get over it we can start dating, I promise!" He held out his pinky like we were little kids. I smiled sadly and wrapped my pinky around his. He grabbed my face and gently kissed me, he actually did it! He let me go and my face was completely red, you could even tell from under my makeup that I was blushing. He chuckled and stood up, "Bye Nao, I'll see ya tomorrow!" He waved and started walking away. He was blushing too and he seemed so shocked with what he just did. I sat staring at hands astonished for a good 25 minutes before I stood up and rushed home, happy as ever♡
