Max watched as the small planets circled around him. He promised Link he would promptly in exactly 4 days- four years where he was going- and specifically NOT to follow him. Max closed his white eyes, that while pure and empty could tell a story no author could ever think of writing, and a whim of hope he snapped his fingers. The planets spun around him in a multi-colored ring of time and travel.
Slowly the being that was Max faded into a mess of diamond shaped anomalies that fluttered into the unknown.
As reality reared its ugly head towards Max a pained groan let his chapped lips. He was in a park, one all-too- familiar for the 21 year old's liking. This was the park his boyfriend preposed to him.
Matrix
His heart stuttered but nonetheless Max pushed his short legs upright and looked down at himself. He was in his normal outfit of red skinny jeans, checkered Vans, and a white t-shirt with red sleeves and the signature turquoise Saturn with a sword through it right in the middle. He ran his fingers through his red hair and blinked his now brown eyes as he spotted the 2 story house just down the road. It looked dark but the glow of a Tv could be seen through the window.
Max smirked
He didn't need to move his legs, they walked on their own. Quicker and quicker until the redhead was in a full out marathon run to the house.
"Home"
He said softly as his eyes examined the large brown door in front of him. Rustling could be heard inside the house, followed by heavy footsteps.
"Shit"
Max looked around quickly for a place to hide but e was frozen in his tracks when he finally hear the door open and that laugh that made his heart stop.
"Home so early cutie?"
Max squeaked when he felt two muscular wrap around him from behind. He was pulled into the house quickly and his arms wrapped around the other males neck in a feeble attempt not to fall.
As Max felt himself being pulled into the mans lap he realized this wasn't just any man.
It was Matrix
Max felt his heart flutter and he didn't waste a second to connect his lips to the taller males. Max wanted to kiss him to the morning, he missed this so much. Sure Link could keep the redhead up all night producing sounds that where like melted chocolate, but Matrix made all of those sounds echo like a harp of gold.
Max felt Matrix pull him closer and deepened the kiss. The air was no longer needed between the two as tongues collided in a battle for dominance and passion.
Breaking the kiss Matrix pulled Max closer so he was comfortably resting with his ankles locked together behind Matrix. The taller male smiled whole heartlessly down at Max. With one swift move he grabbed Max's hand, the faint sound of their rings clinking together. Matrix smiled smiled at his already smiling husband.
"Promise you'll never leave"
"Promise"
