Rex was driving his spaceship in the middle of nowhere, he pulls out a camera and smirks.
"Sup dangervesters, it's me Rex, I'm about to go on the most radical and xtreme journey anyone could ever go on...."

"So as you know before my super cool transformation I was like a small twig construction worker with a happy go lucky attitude, well, I'm gonna see what happens if I throw myself in the mix and watch me mess up all over again, because let's be honest it's hilarious."
Rex moved the camera as he put in some coordinates.
And before Rex knew it he was at emmets front door, He shrunk his ship tiny size because Logic, and stuffed it in his front pocket.
He knocked on the door, and emmet answered it.
"Good morning handsome stranger ! What're you doing at my front door!"
"No time to talk kid I'm like the brother you never had, let's go to work-"
"Okay!" Emmet was chill with Rex, he grabbed his hand and dragged him off into his car.
"Let's put on the radio!" He said happily as he flicked it on.
"Oh my gosh I love this song !" Emmet cheered as Rex sat in the passenger seat.
"here we go again."
Everything is awesome began blaring in the car, Rex covered his ears, he waited for Emmet to come back with two coffees.
"I got one for you! Black coffee ! I'd assume you'd like it ! :D" He said.
"Did you just verbally say :D?" Rex was questioning himself.
"Yeah cause it's awesome !" He laughed driving forward.
Emmet walked into work while Rex followed behind, he was already tired of everything is awesome.
Construction was going on as Rex just wandered, he was approached by some random person.
"Hey.. do you work here ?"
"Yes." He looked down.
"Awesome !" The person threw a hard hat on his head.
Rex walked with Emmet, they were being lifted by a machine.
"Man I feel so good right now ! I could sing this song for hours!" Emmet yelled.

"EVERYTHING IS AWESOME !" The construction site sang, as the song continued.
Rex was close to loosing it, he tried to cover his ears but the song was too powerful.
Finally the song ended, and he sighed in relief.
Some guys were talking about going out and Rex just watched Emmet sadly, Emmet was trying his best to fit in, but was clearly failing, Rex sighed.
Emmet dropped his book and gasped as the wind blew it away, "Wait no guys wait up!" Emmet ran for his book, as Rex chased him.
Emmet saw his book on the pile of rubble and he smiled picking it up.
"Ah there you are !"
Woosh-
Emmet paused, Rex smirked,
"I think I heard a woosh."
Rex bursted out laughing, "gets me everytime." He laughed.
Emmet raised a brow but shrugged it off.
Emmet and Rex turned around and saw a mysterious figure with a tracking device.
"Hey pal, I hate to tell you this but I don't think you're supposed to be here-" Emmet paused.
"The rules specifically state that the worksite closes at 6 it's a hard hat area only-"
"That's not official safety orange." Rex smirked finishing his sentence.
Emmet looked at this book.
"If you se anything unusual or strange report it immediately.." he read.
Rex held his mini camera to his face, "Just watch." He smirked, pulling out a small boom box.
"Welp, guess I'm gonna have to report-"
The figure removed their hood to reveal Wyldstyle, Emmets eyes widened, Rex began to play a song, if you know, you know.
"Youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-" he continued.
As emmet was trying to finish the last word of his sentence Rex laughed, Wyldstyle watched in confusion.
Wyldstyle sighed and zoomed off, Emmet stopped.
"Wait miss ! Where are you going !"
"This is where it gets good." Rex laughed to his camera and followed Emmet.
Emmet ran and tripped, falling into a hole, Rex walked up to the hole and fell in with his arms crossed.
The two took a drop down, Rex dodging everything painful while Emmet wasn't so lucky..
Emmet landed on his face as Rex landed on his feet.
Emmet looked up at a red object set in some crystals.
'Touch meee~' a Voice spoke, both Rex and Emmet could hear.
"What do I do- I don't have my instructions-" Emmet spoke.
"Kid just touch it." Rex replied.
'Touch the piece~'
Emmet began walking towards it, Rex was suddenly tempted too- so they both walked towards it.
Then at the same time they both touched it, both sharing a trippy vision, hearing voices inside both their heads.
