(This is my first love story ,and it will most likely suck. Sorry for this suckyness...................... BTW this is before Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Some offensive content.)

Why, why did I let Renae talk me into this. Sky-diving of all things. I just want to be home in a nice dark room with an Xbox, a copy of minecraft, and a controller, not jumping out of an airplane.

"Come on Akio, Lets go." Renae Frost yelled from the open door of the plane.

"Yeah ,kid, too late to back down now." The instructor shouted over the wind

"You sure I can't leave. There was a mistake...." I look at Renae with a pleading look. Don't make me do this.

"Sorry" She mouthed. She then lept out the door.

Why me? I check over the parachute gear one more time. I'm gonna die... I walk over to the instructor ,and he gives me a frown.

"Acrophobia?"

"Extremely."

"Not my problem."

.......................................................................................................................................................................

I fell through the sky thinking about what I had just done to Akio. The one with the horrible fear of heights. It made me wanna laugh and fell sorry at the same time. It had taken me an hour and a half to get him on the plane ,even then he wouldn't look out the window. I hadn't told him he was going to jump until we were at the correct height ,and I know the instructor personally. He is my cousin, Max Flazburry.

"RENAE, I HATE YOU!!!" I look up to see him falling above me.

I struggle not to laugh at his terrified face. It was mean.....but funny. I have know sense we met that he was acrophobic. Like today taking him skydiving was all my idea.

"You needed to face your fear." I say as he gets closer. It was still hard to understand even through the microphones we had on to communicate while falling. "Repeat that."

"It isn't a fear, it's a phobia!"

"Same thing." I say this knowing that it isn't true. Phobias never go away. Fears do. For some reason I always want to prove science wrong. That is why I brought Akio skydiving. I alter my angle to fall slower forcing him to catch up.

"Leave me alone..."

........................................................................................................................................................................

A few moments later Renae points to a lone balloon drifting in the wind ,and she angles over grasping it. She then looks down pulling the wire that activates the parachute. I made the mistake of looking down as well. A dizziness filled my head.

"Aki, pull the wire." She commanded using my pet name.

"Don't call me that..." I reach up and trigger the parachute. The breath was forced from my body as it caught in the wind. "Did I tell you that you are going to die soon after we land ,and I regain my senses."

"I figured that out by myself."

I watched the whole time as we plummeted toward the earth at a startling speed. Soon we were running across the ground as our parachutes dragged us.
