Chapter 6

HAYES POV
Today is Friday and my family is throwing a party at our house. We are inviting all of our family members and our close friends. Carter, Matt, Cameron, Jack G, Jack J, Arron, Taylor, Shawn, and Maghony. Lucy's family is also going to be here because my mom knows her mom since they were in High School. They even went to college together.

Adele POV
Today i have this party at the Griers house and i was forced to go. My mom told me she talked to Elizabeth (Hayes mom) and she said i could bring a friend with me. I called Cat. My best friend since we were i was in Pre-Kinder. Cat has brown hair and has blue eyes. Although she is older than me by almost 2 1/2 years we get along just fine.
"Sweetie start getting ready we are leaving the house in half an hour", said my mom.
"okay", i scram
I was looking at my closet deciding what to wear, when i saw the perfect outfit. It was a back dress. It was tight with glitter on the top and the bottom was made out of lace. The length was perfect, it reached halfway down my thigh. I decided to wear silver flattops and an infinity ring. I was planning on flattening my hair and putting a little bit of makeup on, so i did. When i was done getting ready i called Cat and asked her if she was on her way, she said yes so i went down and started watching Royal Pains (a TV show). Halfway through the episode Cat arrived and i was really exited. When i opened the door Cat was standing there with a navy dress that was all plain but really pretty. She had diamond earrings and a diamond necklace. She wasn't wearing that much makeup and that is totally her. I told my parents Cat arrived and in no time we were leaving the house. We were walking cause the Griers are our neighbors.

Hayes POV
I was helping Nash to put his tie on.
"i can't believe you can't put a tie on all by yourself", i said
"Ugh, stop bragging i just wanna look good", said Nash
I was wearing a blue shirt with jeans. Nash was wearing an orange shirt with a hoodie and jeans. I really wanted to look good in front of Adele just in case this is the last chance i have to impress her. I heard the doorbell ring and i ran down the stairs. When i opened the door i saw all the boys there. Cam, Matt, Carter, Shawn, Jack J, Jack G, Arron, Taylor, and the only girl in the group (drum rolls please) Maghony.👏
We all came in Me and Nash's room and hung out until we heard the doorbell ring. I went down to open it and when i opened it Lucy was standing there with another girl. We said hi and i we went opposite directions.
When i entered the room i was as red as a tomato and Nash started singing: Adele and Hayes sitting i a tree KISSING... I got so mad that o ran out of the room with Cam running behind me. We went outside and sat down in some chairs near the pool. It was so dark i couldn't see anything. I heard Cam approach and we talked about Adele and my feeling for her and everything until we heard a fake cough. We turned around and our jaws dropped open.
