How to save a life part 2.

"How did you manage to get me? The hospital wouldn't just allow anybody to take me" Kara sputtered, hot tears fell down her face as she tried to break out of her arm straps.

Edge smirked. This man was pure evil.

"I have some inside intel" He replied. Some men came into the room, he turned his head. "Take her away" he demanded as they rolled away the bed Kara was laying in.

Kara just blankly stared at the man who was finished wheeling her away.

"Please, please don't hurt me. I need to go home. My aunt Kathy. She'll be worried about me. my adoptive parents will be worried too, and my sister Alex. Please" she begged. The man took off his mask, Kara let out a tiny gasp.

"Uncle Deacon?" She said. "I... I thought you were dead. Aunt Kathy said you died" she said softly.

"Kara, sweetheart, listen to me" he said as he tried to touch her, but she moved whatever she could to not let him touch her. "You don't need to be afraid of me" he tells her.

"You helped him kidnap me.." Kara replied in a whisper, tears running down her face . "Why Uncle Deacon? I thought you loved me" she asked.

"I do love you sweetheart! I love you and Alex so much. Just let me explain. Please" Deacon begged. Kara nodded.

"Morgan Edge was going to use a device your parents made to blow up, National City. He said he was going to use it on your high school first. He killed your cousin Nathan & then He threatend me. Sweetheart, please believe me, I'm good, I swear" Deacon begged.

"Are you going to kill me?" Kara asked. Deacon shook his head.

"No, I'm taking you back to the hospital. Now quiet down" he tells her, he grabs tape from the tool box & cuts it, walking over. "I'm really sorry sweetheart" he says as he puts a tape over Kara's mouth, ignoring her muzzled screams.

Deacon wheeled Kara away into the back of a van. He grabbed a blindfold and wrapped it around her head, ignoring her screams, and then he sticks another needle into Kara's arm. Ignoring the pained screams that came from poor Kara's mouth. She passed out. This was Edge's way of sending a message. A message that he's still out there and he will be back for revenge. Deacon drove her to the hospital & snuck her back into her hospital room without anybody noticing, he unhooked her hands, picked her up and laid her back in the hospital bed. He planted a small kiss on her forehead.

"I'm so sorry sweetheart" he said in a whisper, as tears fell down his face. He took out his cell phone and called the police. Informing the fake head chief, one of Edge's pawns, that Kara was returned and that he needs to inform Kathy. He sneaks out the window, which is on the 4th floor & manages to climb down back to his van.

Kara's eyes fluttered open again. She looked around and realized that she was back in the hospital, she sat up. The door swung open.

"Kara!" Alex said, tears spilled down her face as she pulled her sister in for a hug. "Are you ok? Did they hurt you?" She asked. Kara was in tears and couldn't talk.

"It's okay" Alex said, holding her close. "You do not have to explain anything tonight. Just rest. Okay?" She said. She helped Kara lay down and softly petted Kara's head until she slowly fell back asleep. She kissed Kara's head, removed her glasses and sat in the chair, she wasn't planning on leaving any time soon.

Kara woke up in a startle, gasping for air.

" whoa, whoa, easy, Kara, easy. It's okay" said a voice. It wasn't Lena, Alex, or even her aunt. Kara grabbed her glasses from the side table.

It was Kate Kane.

"K.. Kate" Kara said, flushing a dark red out of shock, slightly embarassed her crush had to see her in this condition . Kate smiled weakly.

"Hey Danvers. Your aunt let me in. I got really scared when I heard what happened. I'm sorry I couldn't see you sooner. Things got trouble- some at home. My older brother, Lucas, he got arrested." Kate explained.

"It.. It's okay" Kara said nervously, rubbing the back of her neck. "Um so, how long have you been here?" She asked.

"Just a few minutes" Kate replied. The door opened.

"Hey Kara, I heard you were awake & I wanted to check up on you, and, oh-" Lena said as she entered, "Kate, hey"

"Hey Lena. I just came by to see how she was doing. She woke up in a startle, but she's okay now" Kate replied, smiling at Kara.

"I see" Lena replied. She felt confused on why she was suddenly jealous but ignored it. "Hey I'll be back, okay?" Lena said.

"Okay!" Kara replied with a smile. Lena left the room. Kate smiled and held Kara's hand.

"I was scared Kara. Really. Really scared" she confessed. "Can I tell you something?" Kate asked her.

"Anything" Kara said, nodding, heart racing.

"I... I like you." Kate confessed. Scratching the back of her neck.

Kara blushed, her mouth open in surprise.

"You.. You do?" Kara asked. Kate nodded.

"I do.." She replied.

"I like you too" Kara replied. Kate smiled even bigger.

"C.. Can I kiss you?" Kate asked. Kara's eyes went wide, blood rushing to her cheeks.  She just nodded. Kate leaned over and pressed her lips against Kara's.

"Wow..." Kara said.

"Yeah.. wow" Kate replied. "Um, after this is all over.. would you want to maybe.. go on a date.. with me?" Kate asked.

"Of course" Kara replied nervously.
