Intro
This is a story of boy meets girl. And then later down the line boy meets girl again. The stars a line on two different occasions for two ordinary people and it changed them both. For better or worse? Well that’s something you’ll have to decide.
Jason Andrews, a fifteen year old boy who didn’t look any older than maybe eleven. His scrawny build and squeaky voice showed all too well of his lack of growth throughout the years. He was a ‘late bloomer’ as his mother would say to him in a reassuring tone every time he’d come home crying due to the cruel words his classmates said to him. Jason, a sophomore in high school would scurry down the hallways, his bulging backpack weighing about the same as he did. Everyone who knew him- which was very few- knew him to be a very shy and weird kid that was very devoted to his studies. He was on the honor roll all through middle school as well as high school and intended for it to stay that way through his high school years. The big dream for him was to go to Yale and become something great. What that something was, he had no clue, but he just wanted to be known as something other than a complete nerd.
This day was just like any other day for Jason. After waking up he put on his rectangular glasses and got dressed. Upon walking downstairs his mother was making pancakes for him as well as asking him the usual questions about how he slept and what his day would hold for him. Mrs. Andrews was very over protective of her son, and always knew about where he was at all times. Not that he went anywhere else other than school, but if he did she had to know it.
Once Jason finished his breakfast he gathered all of his various items for the day and ran off to meet the school bus. He sat alone and hunched over in his seat to not draw attention to himself. He also had head phones in to prevent himself from hearing the things people might be saying about him. To say the least he lived his life in fear.
Upon arriving at school Jason immediately walked to his first class. Even though the bell wouldn’t ring for a good ten minutes, he had nowhere else better to be. He had no friends that he could mingle with in the halls. He most definitely didn’t have a girlfriend that he could whisper sweet things too. He was alone in this world. That’s one of the main reasons he devoted himself to school and held himself to a higher standard. He didn’t want to live the rest of his life this way. He dreamed of being a hot shot stud when he grew up with a beautiful girlfriend and a huge house where he could host many social gatherings. But as of right now these were all hopes.
The day continued. Class to class he would have intense focus and make sure that he didn’t miss a thing. During his lunch period he was in the library doing the homework that his morning classes assigned to him. As the last bell rang he quickly zipped his coat up due to the snow that began at the beginning of the day. He was quickly walking through the halls to avoid conflict. But to his dismay the exact opposite ended up happening.
