Kingdom of Hearts

Once in a while the world disappears, 

And I smile cause I'm still standing here. 

I feel all alone in this Kingdom of Hearts, 

Its a home but it tears me apart. 

I thought I'd found light but it flickered away, 

A blast in the night from a light grenade. 

This Kingdom is full but surrenders me none, 

It seems very cruel not to let me have one. 

But I wait patiently, sometimes all in vain, 

For a Love that is sweet and will take all this pain. 

Sometimes its so near, yet so far away, 

So close I can hear, so far, I cant say. 

The silence grows more and more every night, 

I try to ignore it, I just lose the fight. 

Once in a while the world disappears, 

And I smile, but I'm so full of fear. 

Nothing's what it seems in this Kingdom of Hearts, 

All of your Dreams, they will tear you apart. 

I've felt this before but so long, long ago, 

And once more, yeah, I guess I should have known. 

This lonely inside me is just meant to stay, 

Oh, cant you see im fading away?! 

Give me a feeling, somebody, somewhere, 

Show me you're willing, and able to care. 

Cause all that I see are fake states of mind, 

Induced little dreams, the blind leading the blind. 

I try to escape the clutch of my thoughts, 

But they prove to be too much and I've tried for naught. 

Once in a while the world disappears, 

To darkness, exiled, in the pit of my fears. 

And all I can do in this Kingdom of Hearts, 

Is try to start new without falling apart. 

Look for that one under this great Sun, 

Come all undone and then try not to run. 

Cause lonely will come, as sure as its gone, 

And when lonely hits some it stays far too long. 

So give me a feeling, somebody, somewhere, 

Show me you're willing to always be there. 

Cause everything's fading to flickering light, 

And I'm right here waiting to feel something right. 

Give me a momory, somebody somewhere, 

Something I can see when shit gets hard to bare. 

Cause once in a while the world disappears, 

I cant find a smile, I cant see things clear. 

And all I can do in this Kingdom of Hearts, 

Is laugh at the fool that said "Love's where it starts."
