the sun was shining bright on my face as it made its way through the big open window infront of me. my eyes were heavy and everything was dark.

suddenly i woke up, every thought in high definition. my eyes took in every ray of sunlight and without a doubt, i knew that i had been sleeping for too long.

aggressivley, i started to rub my eyes as the sudden sunrays brought discomfort and strain to my poor sensitive eyes.

i heard distant shouting

i recalled how i had been at kai's party and went up the seating area. so, why was i still there? why was i sleeping on his couch and not brought home?

hesitantly, i rose myself to sit up straight and looked down on the ground at my heels that i slept with.

"dude! she's not here, calm down and just go home!"

it sounded like kai's voice, husky and mellow but deep. it was apparent that he had just woken up too.

ithe door infront of me burst open, revealing a jung hoseok who still had his hand clasped onto the handle. it had felt like the world was plummeting into coldness because i had started to shiver.

he looked back and faced kai who soon came to look at whatever he was so intrigued by.

hoseok shot him a violent glare as i looked at them with messy hair and confused puppy eyes. this was the real hoseok and he was no longer afraid to show it.

he was a man full of surprises.

"uuhhm?"

i hummed silently, as if i was guilty of something but i didn't know what i was guilty of.

my eyes were still not fully fixed to reality as they didn't have enough time to wake themselves up when i did.

i rubbed them, trying to fix them myself when i felt a hand grabbing my wrist and pulling me out of the house.

it was before we reached the car that i came to my senses.

"that's sore!" i whined and quickly got rid of hoseok's tight grip.

i stood their frozen as i watched in awe at his expression.

from what i could tell, he was not happy with my actions nor with the way i was behaving.

i saw almost nothing short of disgust in his face, almost hatred, as his face reddened with anger.

his tall figure loomed over me, his eyes fixated on my stance, causing me to get a shiver down my spine.

and with his eyes still glued on me, he reached for the cars door handle, ominously opening it.

i didn't dare to look away.

"get in the car, seolhyun"

"no"

his glare sucked something out of me. i felt as if i visibly wilted before him like a dying flower.

"you will listen to me"

"or what?"

"just get in the god damn car!"

...

"i'm older than you by like 5 years, i'm your brother, i'm running late for my rehearsal, your mother gave me the biggest lecture and my father was giving me dirty looks this morning. did i add that i'm late for my rehearsal? so you will, whether you like it or not, get in my fucking car and do as i say from this day on!"

i stood there, looking lost and dumbfounded. the hangover killed my logical reasoning but i could tell he hated the look on my face because seconds after, he pushed me into the car, buckled the seatbelt for me and quickly started the engine.

...

he didn't speak a single word on the way home.
