"Merry Christmas!" My mom said handing me an envelope. "Thank you." I sighed. It's my first Christmas without my dad. I opened it up and read the card in my head. "Read it out loud so we can hear it, Eden." My brother suggested. "Dear Eden, Merry Christmas. Mark your calendar, December 31 we are going to get on a plane and fly to New York. We knew that your all-time dream is to meet the boys from 5Sos, so we decided to buy you some tickets to go see them." I broke down in tears and walked over to my mom. "Thank you." I sobbed. "Your welcome, sweetheart." My mom said hugging me in return.
That Night
"Who are taking with you?!" My best friend Ariel asked over the phone. "I don't know. Maybe you and Sav?" "You know Sav would cry if you invited her." "I know. That's why I'm inviting just you. Along with my mom and brother." "Girl, you are so lucky." Ariel sighed. "I know! I can't wait!"
December 31 @ 6pm
"Flight 169 is now boarding to NYC International." "Alright. That's us" My mom said looking at the tickets.
On the Plane

"I am so excited!" Ariel exclaimed. "I am too!!" I said with lots of excitement.
I decided to take a nap. Eventually, the plane landed and we were going to our hotel room.
"Alright girls, we need to get some sleep. We have to be in the arena at 8 am tomorrow." My mom said shutting off the lights. "Night mom," I said closing the door to our room.
*BEEP BEEP*
I looked at the date
January 1, 2019
"Alright girls. Let's go."
In the Car
"Okay, this was last minute. but I bought us meet and greet passes along with backstage passes." My mother announced. "Thank you, mom!" I exclaimed.
At the arena
"Let's get in line!" I said to my mom. "Line is this way." She read. We walked over to the line and waited for maybe 15 minutes and finally, it was our turn.
"Oh my god. Hi." I said hesitating. "Since you guys are really early you guys can stay up here for a while with us, and if you have backstage passes we could always hang after the show." Ashton smiled. "We have backstage passes." My mom said. "Can we get pictures with you guys?" I asked. "Of course," Luke said smiling at me.

"So, how old are you girls?" Calum asked. "We are both 20." I smiled. "What's your names?" "My name is Eden, and this is my friend Ariel." "Nice to meet you both," Luke said giving me a hug. "Where you guys sitting? Maybe we could wave to you or something like that." Ashton added. "We are in the front row," I said blushing. "We will definitely wink at you," Luke said hugging me again. OMG! Is Luke Hemmings hitting on me? "We better go get our seats. he concert starts soon." My mom said. "Eden. Wait." Luke said grabbing my hand. "Meet me by the tour bus after the concert." He said smiling at me. "Okay," I said hugging him one last time, running to catch up.
After the concert
"I'll be right back mom, I have to go see Luke." "Okay." My mom said as I was rushing to get to the tour bus.
Eventually, I got to the tour bus and found Luke standing there, looking at his phone. "Luke?" I hesitated. "Oh, I didn't see you there." He chuckled. "Come here." He said smiling. "What's up?" I asked. "I asked the guys and my manager. But, would you like to come on tour with us?" I looked at him wide-eyed and said, "I don't know. I would have to ask my mom." I sighed. "Let's go asked her." He said grabbing my hand. Yep, he's definitely hitting on me.
"So, you're telling me that she would be gone until April?" My mom questioned. "Correct." Luke Said. "I suppose. But when do you leave?" "Tomorrow." He Said smiling. "She can go." My mother said smiling at him. "Thank you," I said hugging her. "Your welcome. Just be safe." My mom said hugging me. "Alright Eden, go home, pack and all that shit and we will see you at 5 am tomorrow." He Said hugging me. "Where do I meet you guys at?" "Don't worry about it, we will be at your house at 5." "See you tomorrow," I Said hugging him.
Luke's POV
"See you tomorrow." She Said hugging me. "See you tomorrow." I agreed with her as she walked away.
"Alright fellas, we have to be at Eden Long's house at 5 am tomorrow morning," I Said getting excited. "Eden is coming with us?!" Calum exclaimed in shock. "Of course she is!" I exclaimed.
Back to Eden
Since Luke gave me his number, he texted me this morning.
Luke- Morning Eden :) Are you ready and packed up? We will be there in 25 minutes.
Me- I'll be ready in 5 :)
Luke- Perfect
I rolled out of bed and hopped in the shower.
about 20 minutes later
I heard the bus pull up in front of the house. I grabbed my bags and wrote my mom a note saying-
Dear mom,
Thanks for being so loving and supportive. I will love and miss you <3

"Morning Luke," I said giving him a hug as I walked outside. "You got everything?" He asked me. "I think so." I sighed. "I'll take your bags. You can hop in." He said hugging me tighter. I walked over to the door and went into the tour bus. "Morning boys," I said yawning and collapsing on the floor. "Morning sleepyhead," Michael said laughing. Luke walked into the bus and was like, "Why is she on the floor?! I promised her mom I would keep her safe!" I rolled over and looked into his eyes and said, "I need sleep." He laughed and picked me up and carried me back to the bunk.
