One step toward heaven, two-step toward hell, another step toward devil gate. In his mind, Xiao Zhan had a feeling that things are gonna go wrong somewhere if he stays near that man.

However, fate doesn't have any connection with heaven nor hell, so Xiao Zhan couldn't possibly just run out of the restaurant and leave his high salary job. As Xiao Zhan walk to serve the cooked food on Wang YiBo's table, the girl sits opposite of Wang YiBo kept on eyeing him as if he's some kind of interesting toy.

With a smile, Xiao Zhan put the food onto the table elegantly then bowed a little, "Sweet and sour pork belly with noodle, enjoy." And moved to the side. Wang YiBo lifted his head up to see the smiling face then looked at the food on the table in front of him. The aroma could make one drooling, but Wang YiBo didn't even touch the food. He sat there staring at the plate. Yang Bing observed the man sitting across the table for a while then turned to the waiter at the side, "You're new here, right? Why don't you ask the manager what to put and should not be put in that plate?" She said looking at Xiao Zhan then at the food in front of Wang YiBo while smiling genuinely.

It was the sauce! The problem was the sauce!

Xiao Zhan turned to look at the food, "..." confused, he walked to take the plate and readied to return to the kitchen but was stop by Wang YiBo.

"It's alright." Wang YiBo turned to look at Xiao Zhan with a hint of pity but it didn't last long before it turned cold again.

Upon hearing the assured voice, Xiao Zhan turned around to put the plate down again, bowing, "Thank you." Even though he didn't know what he did wrong, but saying thank you is the most appropriate thing to do at the time. And with a bright smile, Xiao Zhan straightens up to look at the man, who has been staring at him from a while ago.

Xiao Zhan actually felt like he has been in contact with this person before, but he couldn't remember when or where it happens. The two continued to stare at each other until all the bodyguards near them and Wang YiBo's cousin felt awkward, so she cleared her throat to get both of their attention and said, "Eat up then, before it turns cold." As she started to dig in.

Wang YiBo didn't care much about his cousin for getting in between his staring competition and started to lift the fork to dip* into the noodle. (A/N: Tell me what I should use here? I couldn't find the right word!!!)

The truth is, these two had been studying in the same class before, but they never interacted with each other. Until one day, when Xiao Zhan was messing with a girl in the storage room, a boy walked in, interrupted their happy time. Without a blink, the boy looked at their stance position, and said slowly and clearly, "Is it fun?"

Xiao Zhan looked up at the boy, but didn't pay much attention to the question nor the boy standing, he stood up, zipped his pants and walked away without care leaving the girl hanging naked in the air. After Xiao Zhan walked far away, leaving no more sound of his footsteps, the boy also walked away after seeing that he couldn't possibly return to before with the person who betrayed his trust.

That boy is Wang YiBo and in fact, the question was directed to the girl. She was his girlfriend for a year, but maybe he didn't have enough money to spend on her or reputation compared to the playboy, so it maybe wasn't all her fault for betraying him but it was also his fault.

With his good looking face brought much misfortune, however, after getting through all the terrible situations, he started working, opened a company and continued to rise to the top only in five years. How could a boy who just graduated without a master degree work and rise to the top today? No one knows. And no one will know.

Wang YiBo indeed knew about Xiao Zhan's family circumstance because after all, he was their rival company. The one that used tricks on their family company. The one that used a spy to steal pieces of information from Xiao's company. It was a cheap trick, but it wasn't all his fault because one can't clap with one hand. Only if Xiao Zhan's father used people with brain, and not the heart then maybe even if he put ten more spies in the company, none will succeed.

Remembering the past after meeting Xiao Zhan this time, he might as well have some more fun. He was getting bored with works, too. Having this train of thought, Wang YiBo continued to eat his sweet and sour pork belly with glass noodles while continued to smirk like a madman. Yang Bing, who was sitting in front of him after seeing the smirk many times felt like the world is going to end in the next moment he finishes his dish.

Xiao Zhan, on the other hand, was having a dream seeing he, himself punch Wang YiBo with delight without realizing the devil gate was opening.

I was on a date on Sunday and couldn't update. I checked the chapter again and felt like the situation I wrote was too awkward so I changed it. But then it seemed so unfit with the story so I have to changed it many times over.
