Kailee

I ran through the kitchen looking for something, anything to attack him with if it comes to that. Maybe be can work this out like rational adults....or maybe he'll bite my head off.

I found a knife in one of the drawers then took off outside. My confidence dropped when I noticed the house is surrounded by woods. Of course he'd take me to a secluded place where no one could hear me scream.

I took off running into the woods. It's either the woods or go back in the house which is practically asking to be killed.

My chest rose and fell quicky. My eyes searching for the next place to run. Don't look back...don't look back.

I was thrown to the ground suddenly. My back arched in pain due to the hard landing. I looked up and looked at the man with pleading eyes.

"Please don't kill me." I pleased, tears flowing down my cheeks uncontrollably. He stopped, looking at me like I was nothing.

"Pathetic." He sneered in disgust.

His hand gripped my throat pulling me up to were he was holding me mid air. I took this as my chance to stab him in the eye. He yelled as he automatically let me go.

I laughed as I ran away. I need to get out of here asap. From what I saw earlier, I feel like that stab isn't going to do much. I nothing but trees for miles. Regardless, I kept running and running till my legs just couldn't take another step. He has to be way far behind. I've been in track since I was 11.

"Done running?" My breath hit he'd when I heard his voice. He looked down at me with a smirk. How in the hell did he catch up to me?

As I suspected, his eye looked perfectly fine from my previous attack.

"You fought well, I'll give you that."

I huffed. "Well, what are you waiting for? Kill me." I said. I laid on the ground eyes closed ready to accept my fate.

"Warriors never give up till the battle is won." His deep voice said. I felt his pull me up by my arm. Me legs shook trying to keep me up.

I looked at him uncomfortable. He stared me down for a few seconds then walked past me.

"We're a long way from civilization, you may as well follow me." He said emotionless.

I looked at the woods then looked back at him. I can't believe what I'm about to do.

"Wait up." I yelled after him.

~time skip~

We sat in the living room staring at each other. I can't believe I actually followed him! I could've been closer to nearby civilization but here I am sitting peacefully on a couch right across from my kidnapper.

"Why did you take me?" I asked. I've never been anything but nice and this is what I get in return? Kidnapped? Life really is unfair.

"You saw too much. I don't like killing innocent humans unless they get in my way." I stuffed up at his response. It said it with hatred in his voice. What did anybody ever do to him?

"I won't tell anyone! I swear! Please just let me go." I pleaded. He analyzed me with no emotion. I think I prefer the anger. This no emotion thing is scary. I have no idea what he's thinking about.

"The only way you're leaving is either compelled or dead."

I froze. Is he serious? No doubt he could snap me real quick if he wished but compelled or dead are Some really harsh options.
