The view from the car window was green. Green on the floor, green on the air, green everywhere they look. It was raining, of course, the street was wet and there were a lot of trees. A lot people can think that was boring and creepy at the same time but for Olivia it would mean quiet. Or at least she hopes so. Alec was the one who was driving to the new house.
New house.
It was bettersweet saying that since it was so long ago that they were dreaming about this. And now they are doing.
It was a trip of four hours from Phoenix to Seattle, then one more hour of flight until Port Angels and now one last car trip until La Push. Thank god they don't have a lot of luggage.
Rosie and Olivia they know each other since they are little. They met when Olivia wanted to play with Rosie's toys and Rosie with Olivia's toys; it can be a weird start for a friendship but it was the beginin of a wonderful friendship that it is going to last a long time. They were kinda different from each other.
While Olivia had light brown hair and greenish eyes, Rosie had brown eyes and dark brown eyes. Olivia was more social, naïve and smart while Rosie was quieter, protective and smart too. Since they were small they know Luke and Alec.
Luke was a tall, blonde and blue eyes guy, he was a ladie men that's for sure, to them he was this fun and extrovegant guy, to the people who don't know him he is just weird and quiet. Alec is very tall, black hair and brown eyes. He is the typical dad. Dad jokes, always worried about everything and grumpy.
The 4 of them were very special and they knew that.
-I'm so tired of running away. – Olivia said in a quiet voice soon as the song stoped playing and the commercial came. In this small town they only had two radio stations.
-Me too Oli but we need to. – Alec said keeping driving cautelous to see if he is going to the correct way.
Rosie looked at the sign that had the poulation of Forks. Fun fact: It was 3.175. She closed her eyes just thinking that La Push had less than that. Not even 800 people.
-At least we have each other. – She said opening her brown eyes again. Alec looked at her and then his hands tighten the steering wheel, just the thought of being away from them already stressed him out.
After a while, Alec parked the car in front of the new house. Olivia and Alec closed the windows of the car while Rosie and Luke left the car.
-What do you think? – Rosie asks looking at the blue of his eyes. Luke smiles bitting his piercing on the lip.
-It seems cozy. – He says smilling again.
-It's beautiful. – Olivia says smilling so big.
For a small town it was perfect for them.
-Let's see inside. – Alec said opening the car trunk and removing one of the bags from there.
Rosie, Luke and Alec were 17. Alec was nearly 18, but according to his fake passport he was 19. Olivia was the youngest of them, only 16.
All of them agreed of going to a small town to try to live a normal life, all of them don't have the information about their parents, the only information that they gave was that all of their parents died on a tragic plane flight. Not a lot of details.
The house was not huge but was enough. It had 2 floors. On the first one it had a kitchen, a bathroom and the door to the garage. On the second floor thay had the rooms with each toilet on them and the laudry room.
-Sorry if it's small. – Rosie said while she put the kitchen boxes on top of the balcony.
-Don't be like that, it's perfect. – Olivia said still with a big smile on her face.
