Alec tried again the sauce and happy with the result he called them for dinner. Rosie was the first one to arrive and put the table for them.

-Alec? – She asked hearing the other two fighting for washing the hands.

-Hmm? – He said focus on the pasta

-Do you think we are safe here? – She asked in a low voice knowing that Olivia could hear miles away

Alec stopped looking at the food and looked at her.

-I don't know. But I know we are safe being with each other.

She nodded and looked at him with a weak smile.

-It smells amazing! – Olivia screamed entering the kitchen

-Just sit down, dinner is ready. – Alec said smilling.

Rosie smilled looking at them. They were trying so far to hide this secret.

Alec, Luke, Olivia and Rosie are human, however they are capable of doing incredible things. Some individuals are more special than others; it's a random choice, they are born like this. Some people called them heroes, they were the ones who were going to save the world and fight the bad guys like in comic books.

Unfortunately it was not that easy.

Since they remember they have this called "gifts". They were born with that and with time they learned to control, to get better and most important: to hide from the world.

And now that they are in danger, they decided that the best to do is to hide what they are capable of doing, pack and go to a place far away. Where nobody can find them.

The Company was one of them.

Long time ago, 5 people created the "Company". These Company searches for the people who have these gifts and locked them up until they control them; or untill they die.

Since they lost their parents, all of them were working for them. They were agents in there. "One of us and one of them" was their policy where one people with gifts and with a normal human good with weapons were a team to catch the other metahumans. Rosie and Alec were the best one in there. Maybe because of their amazing gift, who knows? Luke was not getting use of his gift and Olivia hated to see other humans suffering on the cells, so both of them decided to run away.

Alec and Rosie found out what they were planning, so they decided to run away with them.

-I'm exhausted, I'm going to bed. – Olivia said yawning

-Me too. – Rosie said after finnishing to wash the dishes.

When Alec was laying on his bed he thought about his gift. He found out when he was a little boy. He burned the head of Olivia's doll because she didn't want to borrow him. His panic face and Olivia's watching his hands on fire were still priceless.

The doll was completely burned and fortunately it didn't burn down the rest of the room.

With the help of the company, Alec manage to develop his gift, and now thanks to the intesive training, today he manage to control the 4 elements. Alec always was proud of his gift; he felt completed with it. Company could have a lot of flaws but it was thanks to them that he was this powerful.

Olivia was talking about the movie she really wanted to see but they were no cinemas near by so she was complain about it to Rosie who was focus to remove the books from the locker.

-Are you even listening to me? – Olivia said sighing when she looked to her

-Yes, no cinema near by. – Rosie repeat what she heard – And something about Port Angels.
