_Chapter 2_

I'm so sorry for not being active!

My birthday is coming up and I've been having stressful days (it's a family personal thing so I won't say—) I've been procrastinating aswell with other things so please—

KO and TKO were heading their way to the park, TKO was on a leash because he tends to run off and nobody can't find him. Though everyone looked at KO like if he was insane.

"Big bwother.. why I wear this?" TKO asked, grabbing the collar.

"Because you always run off like a dog whenever we head to the park. Remember last time?" KO said, TKO had flashbacks on the last time he ran off.

"I saw a black and yellow monster.." TKO spoke, KO facepalmed.

They got to the park and KO sat down on the bench and took off the leash off TKO's collar. TKO then sonic speeded his way to the slide, KO chuckled and watched him have fun.

TKO was running around but then he heard some muffles coming from underground. He looked down and saw he was stepping on some underground  door. "What this?" TKO said.

He opened the door and saw a small child, TKO gasped when he saw them. "Hi!" He beamed.

The young child was muffling something but TKO couldn't quite understand her. "Do you need halp?" TKO reached his hand to the young girl. She glanced at it then she step back.

TKO giggled and grabbed her hand. "Me no evil! Come!" TKO said.

The young girl smiled and was beginning to come out the hole. Before TKO knew, KO was behind him.

"What are you doing?" KO asked with a serious face, TKO turned around slowly. He laughed nervously and dropped the girl back into the hole.

"N-nothing!" TKO spat out. The girl began to do some angry muffling.

KO tilted his head to the side to look at the girl in the hole. It was small little kappa girl. "Oh you were trying to help her?" KO said smiling, reaching his hands in to pick her up.

"You aren't suppose to be in there! Where's your family?" KO asked her, She looked away and began tear up. KO got nervous and tried to calm her down.

"H-hey— W-Wait! I'm sorry.. didn't mean to make you cry.." KO stuttered, TKO frowned and patted the young kappas head. She quickly calmed down.

The kappa muffled something but they couldn't understand, KO saw that she had a mask over her lips. "Hey want me to take that mask off you—" KO got cutted off by her smacking his face.

She shook her head. "Hm.. okay.. do you know where you live?" KO asked. She shook her head again, KO thought of something. He got it.

"Hey! Why don't you stay at my place for a while?" KO asked, The young kappa beamed bright as the sun and nodded. "Great! TKO you have a new friend now" KO said smiling.

"YAY!" TKO yelled, he gave the young kappa a big hug. She didn't expect it but..

She liked it..

KO, TKO and the young kappa started heading back to the house. It's 8:00pm and it's past TKO's bedtime though, KO didn't mind TKO staying up a little more.

KO started making dinner, KO had enough money to buy 2 for him and his little brother but he decided to skip dinner to make the kappas food. He didn't want her to starve.

"Dinners ready!" KO shouted, TKO ran to the table and sat down. the young kappa sat down next to him, KO gave them spaghetti then started to walk away.

TKO looked down at the food then looked at KO. "Hey.. bwother.." KO turned around. "Why you no eat anything?" TKO asked worried. KO chuckled.

"There's not enough for me plus I'm not even hungry—" KO got cutted off by his stomached rumbling. TKO stared at him like if he was stupid.

The young kappa looked down at the food and got up and walked away. "Eh?! Do you not like spaghetti?" KO asked. She came back with paper and crayons.

"You can't draw now! You have to eat." KO said, she drew something then showed it to KO.

"Huh.. you want fish heads?" KO asked, she nodded. "Oh right.. your a kappa so you guys eat fish..hmm.." KO said. He was thinking where he was going to get any fish heads.

He walked to the door and looked at TKO. "Hey little brother.. wanna stay alone with her for a little?" KO asked, TKO nodded and smiled then grabbed her hand.

"Okay! I'll be back. Don't open to no one, okay?" KO said with a low voice. TKO nodded again and ran with the kappa girl to his room.

They got to the room and he put her to sit on the floor. "Okay! Wanna pway with tows?" TKO spoke. She shook her head and brought out her sketchbook.

"Oh! You wanna dwaw?" TKO asked, she nodded slightly and gave him a piece of paper and crayons. They began drawing to draw then he was getting curious what her name was.

"Hey.. what are you call?" TKO asked, she picked up the piece of paper and showed him.

"Dendy? That cute!" TKO beamed, she slightly blushed. She was smiling but you just can't see it because her mask was covering her mouth. She was pleased by the comment.

"Why do you wear that mask?" TKO asked, poking her mask.

She looked away and shook her head, not wanting to tell him why. "Oh.. it's okay! You can keep it hidden" TKO said. "Can you talk?" TKO kept asking questions. She started to get nervous, He noticed.

"Sorry.. am I scary to you?" TKO said, she just stared down at the crayons.

TKO patted her head, she looked up at him and he was was smiling at her. "I don't wanna scare you.." TKO said, She stared at him and started to feel sleepy from his comforting.

She started to wobble then she layed on TKO's chest. TKO smiled and snuggled her up, she was really soft and warm. She felt like a warm teddy bear.

He didn't want to let go.
