Chapter 11

At Area 15. Midela just finished killing Holes as she stands there, one of the Holes attacks her but she pierced it with her sword as she shuffles, and flounces the Hole with her sword. Blood all over the place and some blood caught up on her clothes. Hishigo and the rest of the team came too late as she took care of everything while she is soaking in blood. She picks up a cloth from one of the Holes and rub off the blood that was on her sword. All Hishigo can think of is "what have I done?".

Midela turns to look at Hishigo and Chad, as they noticed her eyes, those intense eyes that brings shivers down to their spine. Midela left the scene without saying anything, without a single word. Passes by Kaizen who stops and talks to her, "why the sad eyes?" he asked, "what a silly question to ask" she said as she walks away.

A day passed and Midela hasn't shown herself to work, and nowhere to be found. Later that night though she appeared at the same time Squad 9 is deployed to investigate the mysterious deaths at Area 13. All Captains and lieutenants were informed about the situation as Shinji and Kelly came looking for Midela when he saw her talking to Pine, Pine left as soon as she saw Shinji approaching Midela. "what are you guys doing here?" Midela asked, "who are you talking to?" Shinji asked, "she was asking for direction, that's all" she answered, "are you mad at me?" Kelly asked, "why would I be?" she asked as her voice seem to have no life, it was like toneless. Shinji asked Midela if she heard anything about the mysterious disease happening in Area 13, but she replied that nobody informed her, "Squad 9 is investigating the area" Shinji further explained, "sounds really dangerous" she replied as she walks away.

After weeks have gone by, there was no information from Squad 9, nothing, Shinji, Rocco, Risa, Hishigo, Kelly and Iyori are dispatched to go check on Squad 9 and further investigate the area. Midela learned that her friends are in danger and barged in the Meeting Hall and said, "they are my friends, so I am going", "is it because of Hishi..." Hiso said when Midela interrupted him and said, "that's not it at all" as she left when the Captain Commander looks at her granddaughter walking away.

Upon her arrival to the area, Shinji and Hishigo are fighting a seemingly "Holesified" Kensei, Kelly, and Mashi. She hurried to aid them and as soon as she was there visible to Shinji and Hishigo, she was pierced by an unseen assailant, Shinji was slashed across the chest and Hishigo caught by someone in the shadows. Darkness falls as the assailants are none other than Kaizen, Taname, and Tobi. "You are all amazing test subjects, too bad it all leads to this" Kaizen said as he lifts a vial of blood, "you know what this is?" he added as Shinji and Hishigo are transforming rapidly into "Holesified". Kaizen explains that the vial contains Midela's blood, he came across a forbidden file that her Grandfather was hiding, and it turns out that Midela is a direct descendant to the Testarosa bloodline. This information shocked Shinji and Hishigo, Kaizen looks at them and said, "I am shocked too" Kaizen said, "is she one of you?" Hishigo asked, "as a matter of fact, the opposite" Chad said as she carries Midela on his shoulder.

Hishigo's eyes widen in shocked "too bad you didn't see that coming" Chad said, "don't touch her" Hishigo said as he screams at Chad, "too late now, you had that one chance and you blew it. That was the only chance to save her and the others, but you just passed her by, I thank you for letting my work easy for me, I am so delighted, and your help was well appreciated" Kaizen said, as he is ready to kill both Shinji and Hishigo when....
