-To be honest I was somewhat pissed. This was an opportunity missed. The girl with braided hair told me her woes.

Kirishima mumbled something beneath his breath bitterly, before he released his grasp on Uraraka's jumper, nervously watching her to make sure she didn't try anything. He realized how he was slightly annoyed, probably because of the fact he could've ended it all on this cool, beautiful night. It would have been a peaceful death, and no one would miss him.

Uraraka maybe would've been saved by someone who was actually good at comforting others, and wasn't a total mess. Denki, Mina and Sero had each other anyways; despite the fact they always said the four of them were the 'closest friends' in the whole class. He was just the backup in case something happened, he was never an important asset of the Bakusquad. Bakusquad. Bakugo. That boy... Kirishima exhaled. If he was being honest, Bakugo was his favourite person in the whole class. They were close, and it took months to grow closer to the ash-blonde boy. Though, Kirishima knew he was just a pain in the ass to Bakugo anyways. He was never even near Bakugo's level; Bakugo is in the top three for the class in all subjects, and Kirishima isn't doing nearly as good as him. Everyone in the whole class knew how unmanly Kirishima was. He's just the same, emo, raven-haired kid from middle school. He could never change.

He smirked to himself, finding a sudden chance of humor despite the dark situation. Ignoring the confused glance Uraraka gave him, before looking down and trying to steady his breathing. This wasn't about him. It was about Uraraka who was on the verge of death. He could save her; maybe it could help him. He looked up at Uraraka, giving a shaky smile.

''We can talk... I don't have anything to do.'' Kirishima murmured soothingly, and Uraraka only looked towards the sunset, pain in her eyes. She took a steady breath.

''You've probably heard it all before.''

She shrugged, her voice cracking as a fat tear rolled down her pastel cheeks. She composed herself once more, before making her voice slightly quieter. She turned to face Kirishima, her eyes broken, but smiling.

''I really thought that he might be the one.''

Uraraka begun, he legs quaking. Kirishima rubbed circles onto her back, ready to catch her in case she collapsed off the edge. Her voice was cracking miserably and felt so hurt. It gave Kirishima goosebumps. Kirishima hated it. He urged Uraraka to go on silently, and so she did. Her smile faltered and she broke out into more tears, her voice a hushed whisper.

''But then he told me he was done.''
