You stared at the boy that kept looking at your sweet girlfriend. You never pegged yourself as a jealous person, but at the moment you were green.
"Can't handle a guy staring like that?" Ferris asked, "I must say, it is the type that my sister would go for, ya know, the high badass drunk people."
You could clearly hear he was teasing you. "Are you suggesting that I'm high/drunk?"
"Hey," he put his hands in the air, "I'm not suggesting anything. You're just interpreting it."
"Bugger off will you?" You pushed him from the chair back making him stumble. Even though Ferris is a little asshole he did make you feel slightly better.
Instead of letting the jealous monster that has overtook you get mad at Jeanie or the dude you still didn't know the name of , you decided to go for a more rational approach. You sat down between them, blocking the view of Jeanie.
Jeanie glanced to the side, afraid that it was the guy who decided that personal space wasn't a thing anymore, and let out a small breathy chuckled when she noticed it was you.
"Hey darling," Jeanie said in a voice that's slightly harder than she would normally do. She was trying to hint at the guy that she wasn't single.
You greeted her back, happy to see that she didn't actually liked talking to him.
She peered over your shoulder, and mentally patted herself on the back because the creepy guy wasn't looking at her anymore. Instead he had interest in his fingernails all of a sudden.
She whispered a thank you. To which you responded by grabbing her hand a squeezing it.
