I was falling in an endless abyss that would seem to go on forever as the black empty space was pulling me mercilessly downwards to the unknown. I clawed at the darkness again and again but to no avail. I could only see the shadowy outlines of my hands and fingers just within my range of vision. I felt helpless since there was nothing to stop my never-ending descent.
There were questions in my mind as I kept falling and falling down.
What was happening to me? Why can't I remember my own name? Why am I falling down? Do I deserve this fate? Why am I not feeling anything? Am I going to survive the fall?
I felt my emotions and memories fading away as I unwillingly continued my descent. It seemed like there was a major force that decided my fate and I had no control over the situation. I could not even remember what has happened to me prior to the fall or why was I falling in the great dark abyss. Somehow, I knew that I must have done something unforgivable but I cannot remember the reasons anymore.
Suddenly, I saw a pale ground just beneath me and there was a house close by. The scene was like in an airplane landing on its destination. However, I had this vague feeling of nostalgia that I came here before but I can't seem to recall when or how I got to this place.
Did I come here before? Why does this feel like déjà vu? Who was I? The mystery kept nagging at me as the ground hurryingly rushed to greet me like an eager host. I crashed hard but I felt no pain or suffering and as I was losing consciousness, I heard silent harsh whispers from the phantoms of the damned.
"Remember, remember what you have done!!"
"We curse you!"
"Why did you do it?!"
"It is all your fault!"
"You are to blame for everything!"
"Murderer!! Liar!! Asshole!!! Scumbag!!!"
"How could you have forgotten?"
"Wake up....WAKE UP NOW!!!"
