Too Soon..

Leave my side
Leave me alone
Why can't I get you out of head
It's so easy to say you'll forget,
But when you're alone it's not the same.
I just want you to hold me like you did before.
You told me I was different from the rest.
Why did you have to go so soon?
I didn't even get to say goodbye.
You just sat there as my eyes filled with tears.
My knees then buckled and I fell to the ground. I thought you would catch me but you didn't.
You let me fall for someone that wasn't meant falling for.
You only cared about me when you saw the markings on my arms and legs.
You told me you didn't want this to happen.
But what did you expect to happen?
I'm not a crybaby, I'm just a girl who's had her heart broken one too many times.
Please stop calling me on your drunk and sad nights.
Because you did this to yourself..

note: yes this is about my ex who absolutely destroyed me, and if anyone relates to this I want you to know that you can talk to me. I can give you closure and give you advice on how to let go.

I sound hypocritical, but I wrote this on one of my sad days, because we as people are allowed to have our sad days. But I also write stories and poems to help with the pain.
