Mentor Superman: Noticing The Sentry's Incredible power but also his damaged mindset, but also seeing the potential for the Sentry to become one of the next generations strongest heroes, Clark decided to take Matthew on as his sidekick and be his Mentor to help him better develop his powers and try to help with his mental aliments. Over time as the two fought crime together they have developed a strong friendship, with Matthew never having a prominent father figure in life he looks to superman as a type of father figure, over the course of his 3 year career their relationship has gotten to the point where Superman has revealed his Civilian identity to him and Matthew even occasionally goes over to his house to spend a couple of days with Clark and his wife Lois when his mother is away; Because of Clark's awareness of Matthew's incredible power being stronger that many other veteran heroes he occasionally will ask matt to assist The Trinity on some of their missions.

Raven "Rachel Roth": Being one of the few people in the world to know what it's like to live with a dark side, both Raven and Sentry share some common interest such as: Quiet reading, Music and mediation, Matthew even took lessons for a time from Raven on how to better Suppress and utilize the Void's power, as a result Matt has developed a romantic crush on raven.
Super-girl (Kara Zor-El/ Kara Kent): When Matthew first met Kara after she landed on earth he couldn't understand anything she was saying as she was speaking Kryptoyian for a short time, but when Matthew first saw her it was like the world had gotten a bit more brighter and had more colour to it, clearly showing difficulty with the earth and adjusting to this new world Matthew told superman and batman that he could volunteer to help kara adjust to earth acting as sort of a middle ground with Matt being human but also being one of the strongest humans on earth superman was glad for the offer, overtime the two became best friends as Matthew was one of the first humans she befriended, meanwhile matts feeling for her only swelled up the longer he got to know her.
