I wasn't sure what that meant or how it got into my pocket, but I knew I had to do something. I immediately started walking in the direction of the traffic, passing all the beautiful sights of... well I still wasn't sure what city it was.
I wasn't sure if I had time for sightseeing, or if I had to be somewhere... but how would I know where I was supposed to be if I didn't look around a bit? I decided to walk into the nearest comic book store and see if I could find some help. All I could hear was gibberish, or some foreign language. That is.. until I heard a female-sounding English voice.
I moved towards the voice, and soon found a black-haired, fairly thin, Japanese girl. "Hello?" I said. "Oh hi! who are you?" she asked as she turned towards me. "I'm.. Well... I don't
know." "No way... You got amnesia, too? let me guess, you have no idea where you are." "That's right!" I said. "Please tell me you got a piece of paper." She anxiously replied. "Yeah, I did!" "Well what does it say? I'm dying to know!" "mine just said 'go'" I said, fearing a disappointed look in return. "Oh! mine says 'to'""So that means... there are more out there... Come on, kid! We have to stick together and find the other people so we can leave this place" she suggested. I nodded in agreement and followed her as she yanked my arm out of the shop. "Look, I got some food and supplies if we need them, so we should be alright for a while." We headed out to find shelter, and found a little shack, not too bad, but seemingly abandoned. She suggested we stay in there for the time being. "Well, since we don't remember our real names, we should make our own! I'll be... Selena. You?" " I guess I'll be... James." "Ok, sounds good!" she replied.
It was getting late, so we decided to go to sleep on some mats that were in the shack. When we awoke, we could see a bright light out the window, but all the tall buildings were gone. "Let's go outside and see where we are" Selena suggested. "I hope it's not creepy like the first place..." she said, shivering.
We walked outside the door, and what we saw was unusual.
