"She sits up high surrounded by the sun, one million branches and she loves everyone. Mom and Dad did you search for me? I've been up here for so long, I'm going crazy."Pierce The Veil, Hold On Till May

"You guys always need to remember that your parent's actions and mistakes aren't your fault but they can make who you are today, and quite possibly be the reason you are here today. Does anyone want to share a story?" Linda asked the group. Through out the day we had group meetings to try and better ourselves. We were also told that if we went to all the groups we would get a better chance at leaving early.

"I'm sure Cali would love to tell about her perfect parents. Why are you here anyways? Didn't get the new Iphone?" Tally taunted me from across the table with her eyebrows raised and a smirk plastered across her face.

"Tally, shut up." Asher said harshly, this wasn't the first time Tally had tried to get under my skin and since Harry had been glued to Asher and my side all week the taunting has gotten worse. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Harry shift in his seat, I glanced at his face and he had a harsh glare on it looking right at Tally.

"Why should I? Miss perfect sits here like her world is hell and doesn't say a word but we all know she lives a perfect life." Tally bit back harshly at Asher while glaring at me. I could feel anger pumping through my veins at her wrong accusations. My mouth watered and I felt the urge to scream in anger. I was so sick of her and her constant judgment, I was sick of everything.

"Actually you're wrong. My parents work all fucking day long and sometimes nights too, then they go on business trips and usual just leave a note on the table explaining they are gone, they haven't said they love me since I was 9 years old, I have never been able to talk to them like a kid should. So maybe I come from a wealthy family and maybe I have everything some people want but I would rather have parents who love me than parents but are't able to buy me shit than parents who forget my birthday, miss my school functions, and don't even care when I'm lying on the floor covered in blood. So you can take you judgments and shove them up your ass." I yelled as her. My voice cracking a little from not talking in 4 weeks, anger was radiating off me. Asher looked shocked and Harry looked proud. That's when it hit me that I spilled my parental issues to a whole room of people I don't know, I could feel my hands start to shake and my eyes start to water up with fear and embarrassment. I jumped up from my seat and ran out of the room with my name being called behind me.

"Cali!" I heard Asher's high pitched voice call from behind me, I went to turn into my room but two large tattooed hands grabbed my small waist and pulled me to his hard chest. I could feel Harry's breath hitting the top of my head making my hair stand up a little and creating goose bumps on my arms. I slowly started falling apart in Harry's arms, my sobs got louder and my legs got weaker. I knew people were staring at me and that scared me.

"Let's move her into her room." Asher spoke in a hushed voice as he noticed people looking at me. I felt Harry nod and move his hands under my butt as he picked me up and carried me into my room and lay me on my bed. Harry and Asher both took a seat on opposite ends of the bed.

"I'm so proud of her for talking." I heard Asher say before I slowly fell asleep.
