Chapter 5 Mothers Plan

Four Weeks Later
Ember's P.O.V
Me and Harry were walking around the small city when Gil, son of Gaston, stoped us.

"There's the best couple on the Isle!" He said enthusiastically.

"Hi, Gil." I say giving him a hug. Gil inherited his fathers strength and sadly his brains too. "What's up?"

"Nothing really. Just wondering what to do today."

"Didn't ya hear? We're all going to Uma's to watch Ben's coronation." Harry says with an eye roll.

"Oh, well I'll meet you guys there." Gil said running off towards Uma's place.

I giggle and wrap my arm around Harry's waist, "You can be so mean."

He let out a deep growl and pushed me up against a wall in a dark empty alley.

"Oh, babygirl, I know." He whispered into my ear and nipping at my earlobe. I gasp, surprised at his sudden behavior.

"Harry." I moan.

"Not now, babygirl. We have somewhere to be." He said kissing me quickly before taking my hand in his and walking towards Umas.

"Hey, guys!" Uma greets us outside her door.

"Hey, Uma!" I say greeting her and give her a hug and so does Harry.

"Come on in." She says opening the door and walking in.

"Hey, guys." I say greeting the rest of the crew and jumping up on the counter while Harry just stands beside me with his right arm around me. Some of the guys actually had a crush on me and still try to hit on me. It's very annoying. But they all know not to do anything.

"There she is." I say sarcastically as Mal sits up front by Ben during his coronation.

We continue to watch and mock until someone grabs the wand and all of a sudden our Isle shakes!

"AAHH!" We all yell as Umas house starts to crumble. Harry quickly scooped me up in his arms and holds me close as he runs out with everyone behind us.

After we ran out we noticed the barrier was gone and in the sky was a black line of smoke hurtling towards Auradon. It was my mother.

We are all in shock and sense the barrier is down there's magic now. My hair became blue fire like my fathers does.

"Ember, your hair." Uma gasps.

I notice and touch it. It doesn't burn me. But as soon as it happened it disappeared and the barrier was back up.

"Uma, I'm so sorry!" I say hugging her tightly. "We'll find you a new house, ok?"

"It's ok, Ember, I have another place to stay at. Thank you anyway." She said with a half smile.

"I guess your mothers plan failed, love." Harry said wrapping his arm around me tightly.

"I guess it did." I say spinning around and giving him a kiss.
