As Dr.Reed steped tot he side. She had a perfect view of a boy around her age starting at her. His eyes were as big as saucers and his mouth was slightly agape. His eyes were the deepest of blues she had ever seen. He looked at her again and something on his face seemed disappointed to see her. Even though she had never met this boy she felt sad about it. Which for her was bad because she never felt emotion tword any boy ever. "Alice may I speak to you in the other room please."

You could tell he was angry but had it on a short leash.

"Anything you have to say you can say infront of her." Dr. Reed made a dramatic gesture tword me.

"Fine. I thought you were bringing me a boy. I though I would be living with a boy. So therefore you have some explaining to do." He started tapping his foot on the floor impatiently.

"I never said she was a boy. You made that assumption all on your own. Besides you have no other choice you have been searching for century's and I doubt you want to spend more time on the matter."

"Hold it. Whoa whoa whoa you said that I was here for my own good you never said anything about me staying with... With... With him!"

I jabbed a finger tword the boy. He looked at me and then at Dr. Reed and the smiled "you didn't tell her did you?"

"Oh yeah cause the best way to get her here was to tell her everything and have her think I'm crazy."

"Oh don't worry. I already think your crazy." I muttered under my breath.

The laughed as if he could hear me and then said "well I'm not going to be the one to tell her. If you need me I'll be moveing into my room."

He started walking to the door but suddenly Dr. Reed swooped with such speed that Arrow just stood there stund. She quickly moved in front of the boy and closed the door behind her. And with a soft "click" Arrow knew she had locked it. "Great. Just great. First I'm flown to an unknown location in the middle of no where. And then am locked in a room with a complete stranger. Is it just me or am I going crazy?"

The boy looked at me then at the door, sighed and started walking tword the couch. "Well I guess the only way out of here is to talk. So what's your name." He stretched his arms along the back side of the couch reviling strong mussels along his arms. I personally think wanted me to see them buy that's probably just me being paranoid about the subject. He now smileing at me as if we did this everyday. "What's my name. Out of all the questions you ask, you ask for my name." I sigh and turn around and lay my forehead in my right hand. I have this strang feeling to just tell him everything and for me that completely strange. I walked over to the wall to get as far away from him as possible it was then that I realized he was gazing into my eye's. I push my back against the wall and slide down it until I hit the ground. "Or you could do that. Well you could at least look at me while I'm talking to you."

I was sitting cross legged starring at the floor. I looked up at him "Why would I tell you anything. I don't even know you."

"Fine sit there and say nothing. But you do realize that she won't let us out until we talk."

I leaned my head back against the wall and closed my eyes. "Fine you talk and I'll do my best to listen."

"Ok. I'm Ashten. I come from a long line of... Well let's just call them reptiles and dogs."

I peeked one eye open at him and then breathed a sigh "great I'm locked in a room with a physco path. Could this day get any worse." I mumbled to my self.

For the next two hours we just sat there. Me with my head agenst the wall sitting on the floor. While Ashten admired a painting on the other end of the room. Occasionally sneaking a glance at me when I wasn't looking.

My leg was starting to fall asleep so I slowly got up stretched and walked to where he was standing. "It beautiful. Who painted it?"

"Me."

"You Painted this?"

"Don't sound so suprized. I happen to like being creative."

I gave him a one up look and when I settled on his face he was smileing at me.

"What? What's so amusing?"

"Oh it's nothing it's just that I expected someone else."

"Well sorry if I messed up you fantasy of dating the skinniest hottest model around but I didn't ask to come here. Appently the desion was made for me."

"Yeah I know how that feels."

He said it with a sad tone but deep done there was something distant in his vioce.

He walked over to one of the sofa's and sat down gently. A grin soon wiped away the sad look as if it had never been. "So are you or are you not going to tell me your name?"

This was the point where I could see there was realy no point in not giving him my name. But being as stubborn as I am I did it anyway. "Well I guess that answers that. Would you at least try to help me get out of here. It's dark and I sorta don't like the dark." He still had that boyish grin on his face.

I gave a deep sign and through my head back. "Fine. If I must."

"Good. So what's your name?" I didn't think his grin could grow but it did.

He actually looked kind of handsome in a way. I started laughing and walked twords the door that led into the stairway/living room. "Where are you going and what's so funny?"

"You said I had to help you get out of here you never said how."

"How else are we supposed to get out of here? If you haven't noticed the door's locked."

It was wired he had kind of an accent in that small sentence. I sighed as if I was disappointed in him and smoothly unpocketed my lock picking pack that I kept in the right picked beside my phone wich was sitting on the couch in the stairway/living room. I looked closely at the lock and desided to use the longest. I slid it into the lock and swiftly worked it until I herd a soft click. "Tada."

He just sat there starting at me. "Ya know ya gotta thing for stareing."

"Where did you learn to do that?"

"I picked a few things up from the streets. Now do you wish to stay in here or are you going to go out of the room."

He stood up and walked over to me. That's when I relized his night he stood nearly a foot over me and I was tall for a girl. I took a step back and he gave a soft laugh. Then he grabbed me hand and started to inspect it with a bird expression then his eyes went wide. But just as it had swiftly apered it dissapered and replaced with a heart stopping grin. "Thank you. Shall I show you to your room luv."

"I knew it!" I gasped and then pushed him aside.

"You knew what? That I had an accent. Yes I'm from England."

I rolled my eyes and started for the stairs. He followed behind me and I could sense that he was still smileing as we neared the hall. I stopped at the beginning of he hall and turned and looked at him. He smiled and made a dramatic hand gesture tword the hall. I rolled my eyes and walked gracefully down the hall. That's when he put his hand on the small of my back and nearly jumped out of my skin. I turned and glared at him but his smile only widen and he steped in front of a door, opened it and guided me inside. All though sliped away as I walked into the dark purple room. Pictures of dragons, fae, and wiches lined the wall. Under a huge banner of a fae sitting on a rock and a big dragon in front of her laided a king size bed with black and red silk sheets. On the other side of the room sat a couch and love seat the color of the sea. In the far left corner stood two doors but I hardly noticed them in my slow sweep of the room. My eyes finally settled back on Ashten and of all the things he could have been doing he was stareing at me with his mouth agape. He then slide a smile over his face to conceal the awe. But there was something in his eyes that screamed curiosity. The question is though curiosity for what?
