Spanish philippine war

23 Aug 1896 - 12 Jun 1898

"SUGOD!!!"

The sound of swords and gunshots were heard as the metallic smell of blood clung onto the air that made KKK feel sick.

But he had to fight.

For the people.

For his family.

And for his country.

"PAPA!"

That voice.

"PHIL!"

He ran towards his son as a wave of bullets came and killed most of his men.

"HINDI ITO LABAN MO!"
(This is not your fight!)

KKK screamed on top of his lungs as he drove a sword to a spaniards chest.

Phil let out a grunt stumbling backwards as he took a shoot.

"BAYAN KO RIN ITO!"
(This is my land too!)

"MGA TAO KO RIN TO!"
(These are my people too!)

"HINDI AKO MAGPAKATANGA! LALABAN RIN AKO!"
(I will not just stand and watch. I will fight!)

Phil panted. He was getting tired as the bruises along his body began to take a toll on him but he didn't stop.

All KKK could do was sigh and shook his head.

"Ang tigas ng ulo mong bata ka.."
(You stubborn little shit.)

Phil laughed admist the war raging in between him and his father. He knew that this fight would cost both of their lives but he didn't care.

He was fighting for his mother.

For the people.

For this country.

And for their freedom.

It didn't matter that their lives was on the line now.

He stabbed a sword through a spaniard with a grunt feeling blood splash through his face.

Rizal's death will never took for granted.

Aguinaldo's plan will never be wasted.

Lapu-lapu's braveness will never be forgotten.

And his mother's death will surely be paid.

"Pa.."

Phil panted as he pulled the sword out of a random spaniards chest.

"If... if i die."

He panted getting more and more tired.

"Never let the spaniards rule over us ever again."

Phil spoke with so much venom in his voice. Bitterness lacing in everyword he spit out.

His father laughs and smacked the back of his head.

"You think i'll let you die out here?"

KKK glared down at his son seemingly disappointed.

"Hindi ka mamamatay habang nandito pa ako. Mabubuhay ka ng maayos at puno ng pagmamahal pagkatapos ng digmaan na to."
(You will not die out here. You will live happly after this fight.)

KKK grabbed his son by his collar and growled.

"You will survive this. I will fight for your freedom until my very last breathe, so don't you say anything about dying."

His father pulled him in for a hug as hot tears filled his eyes.

"Mahal na mahal kita anak... at ipapangako ko ang kalayaan mo."
(I love you my son... and i promise you your freedom.)

Both of them pulled back panting and tired.

"But we have a war to win."

Tangina...

That son of a bitch took a good hit on him.

"Help please.."

KKK panted heavily as the American before him looked down pitifully.

They were supposes to be allies.

"M-my son.."

He coughed up staying down on his knees.

He didn't like begging. But he will do it. For his son.

For his son.

"I-i need s-someone to look a-after him.."

He looked up seeing black dots covering up his eye sight.

He tried his best to stay alive. Just stay for a little bit longer to talk to the American.

KKK struggled on breathing as he started a conversation up to the brute.

"Y-you..."

KKK coughed blood coming out of his dry mouth.

"Are young.."

KKK stopped breathing in.

"Just like him..."

KKK let out a chuckle blood sliding down his tired face.

"Mahal ko ang batang yun."
(I love that kid)

He looked down feeling his eyes droop.

"If you really are our allies.."

He fell down with a loud thud but America didn't do anything but to watch.

"Set them free..."

Then everything was nothing.

America's Pov

"Sir?"

America took a side glance to his men not feeling in the mood.

"Spaniards."

America scoffed taking his eyes off the dead filipino.

"What do they want?"

America growled glaring at the man infront of him.

"They surrender."

America looked at the man infront of him confused.

''What?"
