Namjin- Epiphany

Its been a while since I last wrote and I've had barely any ideas on what to write. This idea came to me only last night and it's another Namjin one (yay!!) and I know I have a vkook one that definitely needs doing, plus any other ships yall want me to do (VkookMin, Vmin, 2Seok etc). So lets get on with the story!! Also, imagine that Epiphany had not existed yet as its part of the story. XxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxX

Warning- Angst ahead!! ( I don't normally do angst so this is a first lol)

Jin was stressed. Their comeback was soon and he had barely any lines. It may just seem like a small thing to somebody else, but to Jin, it was a huge thing. It made him feel worthless, not good enough, a terrible example to the Maknae vocalists.

His mood was at an all time low and all he could do was force a smile on his face and act out the usual Kim Seokjin persona.

Today was the day of the recordings of the songs and all the members had been loaded into the car and drove off to the recording studio.

Namjoon noticed Jin was a little quieter than usual. Only saying things when he needed to keep the Maknae in line. Otherwise, he only spoke when he was spoken to, and he looked as if something was bothering him.

They got to the studio and were told to warm up their voices while they set everything u and got ready for Namjoon to record Intro: Persona first.

While Namjoon was recording, Seokjin had time to think. He thought about how Namjoon got many solos and intros to albums, J-Hope had an amazing choreo and rap for Intro: Boy Meets Evil and everyone had amazing solos.

He thought about ow in the early days of bangtan, he had next to no lines and was frequently in the background. Not much had changed. He still got very few lines and would usually dance next to Namjoon when he wasn't centred.

While all these thoughts piled into his head, Jin suddenly got some inspiration and began to write down lyrics as if his life depended on it.

He wrote down many sentences and tried to turn them into a song. It was a very depressing song he saw staring back at him, but he saw his reflection in the lyrics like a mirror.

After Namjoon was done with Intro: Persona, they decided to record Dionysus. Jin didn't have many lines in this song, but he smiled and kept going forward with their plans.

It was nearing the end of the day and the recording team had asked Jin to go over his part again. "Jinnie we can wait for you!" Jimin said with a smile. Jin chuckled and replied "No need to wait Jiminie, I wont be long. Go home and get some rest, all of you". They all nodded, sadly, but said their goodbyes to Jin and went home.

As soon as they got to the doors of the building, Namjoon told everyone he was going to stay, as the leader he thought he should help and supervise Jin. So he told the members to go back to the dorm and rest.

He snuck back in and he saw Jin recording. He sounded so beautiful and Namjoon got butterflies when he heard him. Yes Namjoon was crushing on Jin, but was he going to tell him? Absolutely not. He was too afraid that Jin might not feel the same.

Anyway he pushed his feelings aside and continued to watch. As Jin finished, the recording supervisor yelled at him because his vocals were 'all over the place' and 'not strong enough'.

Jin felt broken again. His mind kept going back to the lyrics he wrote earlier. Tears began to cloud his eyes and blur his vision. But he just nodded, smiled, and started again.
