"Channieeee," you whined as you spun around with your chair which had wheels.

"Hm?" Chan mumbled as he continued focusing on his piece.

You were in Chan's studio, it wasn't your first time there so you already got pretty comfortable. Chan's studio wasn't that small, it was pretty big for a studio actually. Two single sofas settled on one side of the studio and a huge widescreen with a keyboard and some other equipment on a table on the other. Not forgetting three wheelchairs surrounding the table.

"I'm hungryyyy," you whined as you looked at Chan with your puppy eyes.

Chan finally turned his head towards you and formed a smile, "Didn't you eat lunch at school?" he said as he ruffled your hair.

You furrowed your eyebrows and pouted, "That was like seven hours ago. Now I'm hungry again,"

Chan laughed and nodded as he stroke your hair softly, "Sorry if I didn't pay much attention to you today. I told you hanging in my studio is a boring idea,"

You shrugged, "At least you got a friend who waits for you to finish working and go have fun a bit," you said.

Chan's smile disappeared as he looked down. You were about to ask him what happened as he suddenly shot his head up with another smile that made you forgot the previous frown.

"Thank you," he said out of nowhere.

"For what?"

He shrugged, "Keeping me company,"

A smile crept on your face as you nodded, "Anytime. I got nothing else to do anyway,"

Chan smiled and nodded, "Now let's get ourselves some food shall we,"

You both ordered delivery and talked about random things while waiting for the food to arrive. It didn't take that long for the food to arrive.

You both got out of the studio and went out of the building to pick up the food and pay. It was raining that night and Chan warned you to be careful of the slippery floor. But, you being you, can't help yourself and slipped as you just got out of the main door.

You closed your eyes as you braced yourself for a hard crash but, none. You felt someone's warm breath hitting your bare neck as well as a strong grip on your hips. You slowly opened your eyes as the first thing you saw was Chan's dark brown eyes. He looked worried but not for long as a sigh of relief came out through his thin pinky lips.

You could feel a heat creeping towards your cheeks as you looked away. Chan helped you stood straight again.

"Thanks," you shyly said as you tried looking anywhere except his eyes.

Chan chuckled and ruffled your hair once again, "Be careful," he said as he intertwined your fingers and continued looking for the delivery man.

You looked down as a smile formed on your face. You felt your heart beat faster as your cheeks turned into the colour of rosy pink even more.

That was when you found out that you didn't just like him and he's not just an ex-boyfriend that you no longer have feelings for.
