Nah, let's meet up at the park near my house

Jisung reached the park first. He chose to sit down on one of the benches near the water fountain. As he waited for you, he kept thinking about what you wanted to say to him.

There was always one thing that bothered him since his cousin's wedding party. He noticed that you slowly become distant and he noticed that you didn't actually like him that way

Jisung let out a heavy sigh as he heard footsteps coming. He turned his head to see you with your brown coat and brown boots. You threw him a smile as he smiled back. He motioned you to sit beside him as you obeyed.

You hummed as you think of words on how to say it, "There's something I need to tell you," you said as Jisung stiffened by the tone you used.

Jisung let out a heavy sigh and nodded, "I understand," he said as he looked up to you.

Your eyes met and you saw the look of heartbroken and disappointed. You looked away as you couldn't stand but feel guilty.

"I'm sorry, I really do. I thought that maybe one day I'll learn how to love you but instead, my heart tells me otherwise," you said.

"It's Chan isn't it?"

You didn't answer him and just looked down, playing with the sleeve of your coat, "I'm sorry," you said once again.

You heard Jisung let out a sigh before nodding his head, "It's okay. Maybe it was really you and Chan since the beginning. I'm sorry that I've pushed you too much," he said as you shook your head.

"Will you be okay?" you asked as you tried looking into his dark brown eyes.

Jisung looked at you back as he sent you a warm comforting smile, "Don't worry, I will,"

You nodded as both of you once again fell into the silent night. Since that moment, you finally part ways once again and continue going on your own path.
