"Come on, Bonnie. Pick up the phone," Stefan muttered to himself, growing more frustrated and irritated by the minute as he was yet again met with a voicemail. This was his fourth attempt right after he tried to get a hold of Elena who didn't answer as well.

He rubbed his hand against his forehead, trying to block out the sounds from the captured vampire. Stefan decided to call Caroline to try his luck cause why not, one of them needed to know and tell the others what they had found. Fortunately for the green-eyed Salvatore, the blonde vampire had picked up his call on the second ring.

"Hey, Stefan, what's going on?" Caroline asked. It seemed whenever Stefan would call or text it was because of something happening. Luckily, Caroline was just walking around before her next class started.

"Klaus sent a vampire to Mystic Falls for Elena and they ended up here at the boarding house." Stefan told the blonde, walking to a quieter room away from the torture.

Caroline hadn't expected him to say that and felt very taken aback. "What? Really? Are you serious?" she exclaimed.

"Yes, Caroline, I am serious. Damon captured them since I was gone and now we have been trying to get information out of them about Klaus. Anything that could help us." Stefan added further. The vampire revealed that he was there for Elena but had refused to give anything about Klaus. It was annoyingly frustrating.

"Well thanks for letting me know. I'll tell Bonnie and the others. Let me know if something else comes up." Caroline said in assurance. If there was one thing she was exceptional at, it was spreading the gossip. She was glad the vampire hadn't been able to track Elena to the school. That would have been a disaster. "I'm guessing you weren't able to get a hold of Elena or Bonnie?"

"I tried to call them both and it went to voicemail." Stefan told. It wasn't a big thing of this was normal circumstances but they did agree to tell one another if things progressed more because of Klaus.

"Elena had a nightmare. I'm not surprised she didn't pick up your call. Today hasn't been the best day for her." Caroline expresses to her friend. Worry etched in her voice but didn't go into much detail. "Text me if something happens. I gotta go."

Stefan knew how bad nightmares could get. It was one of the reasons he couldn't sleep at night. "Tell her I hope she feels better and to put try not to think about to too much. I'll talk to you later if anything else comes up." Stefan ended the call and headed back into the living room.

The question had been been going on for nearly four hours. And they have gotten nothing out of the vampire except a lot of his blood painting their floors. It does seem a little odd with all they have done so far that he has said nothing. The man wasn't a very old vampire compared to the two of them either. "I don't think we are going to get anything more out of him. We are wasting our time." The younger Salvatore directed toward his brother. Damon seemed to also be growing tired of going in circles. It was either the vampire knew nothing or he did know and would rather die than tell them.
