Kept Secret (Peter Parker x Male reader)

It's been a few days after Peter came to your apartment wounded. You got closer. But you still didn't hear from Spiderman and that made you much more worried. While you were on your way home you got attacked by some metallic tentacle, you're reflexes were on point since you just had the time to jump to the side and dodge the tentacle  that missed crushing you under it. You saw a figure from afar, then the figure approched you, you saw a men, with prostetic tentacles that had claws to it, all of them linked to his body, which was weird looking. Then it hit you, it's Doctor Octavius, also known as doc Ock, well, that's what people say at least. But what was weirder is that he attacked you, he's not known to attack civilians, he just wants to eradicate Spiderman, which you didn't like but that's not the point at the moment. "Oh but I know this face, aren't you Spiderman's friend ?" he asked rhetorically. "How do you know ?!" You questionned petrified. "Oh, I simply watched every move of Spiderman of the last monthes, I know everything about him, even his identity." You were terrified. You couldn't do anything, not protect yourself nor protect anyone that might be hurt because of him. "I also noticed of all his friends you seemed special. That is why I am taking you with me." he said before making a terrifying laugh. He then took you in one of his claw of his tentacle and bring you to what seem to be his den. There was a lot of tech and mechanical things in here, and some advenced technlogies too, ones that helped with his tentacles you assumed. 

You were tied to a chair. If that wasn't cliché. You were dizzy but you looked around you, there were mens that guarded you. You felt trapped. But most of all you knew it was a trap for Spiderman to fell in. And you just hoped he wouldn't. You waited what felt like a lifetime. It was boring but with all the weapons that the mens are holding you were scared. You hated this feeling. The feeling of incapacity. You can't do anything to get out of this situation. You were like a burden that needed to be saved. You wanted to protect yourself, to be able to stand for yourself, but you had nothing special. Nothing that could help. So you stayed here, waiting to be saved. And you hated it. After a while, you looked up to see spiderman in a vent, motionning you to stay quiet, no one seemed to notice you, so you just got your head down. After that you just saw webs being shoot at the mens mouthes and then they got attached on the ceiling with webs. He then got off of the ceiling and helped me escape. "Okay, you stay here, I'll get that weird octopus out. Wait for me." he said seriously. You didn't want him to go, you wanted him to flee, whit you. But you knew it's what he had to do, for everyone's safety, and his own, because he's an hero, that's what he does. You then got somewhere to hide, but still near the room with spiderman. You heard a lot of noises, mostly fighting noises. And some puns from Spiderman, you couldn't help but chuckle at them, silently. Still you were really worried. 

After a while you didn't hear anything anymore. Just silence. You got out of your hiding place, and went to see if Spiderman was okay. You saw a knocked down doc Ock, and a collapsed Spiderman. You rushed to him to make sure he was alive. He was still breathing, hardly breathing. He was still alive but barely. You took him by one of his arm and get out of this place. Police rushed to the building, while the ambulance take care of Spiderman and you. You weren't hurt or anything but you had a psychological support. You only stayed some hours at the hospital because you were okay. But you knew Spiderman had to be there longer. Also, you saw aunt May here, you wondered why, you hoped everything was okay. Then you got home, and waited for any news. The next day, you noticed that Peter was missing, maybe it had something to do with May being at the hospital yesterday. You hoped Peter was okay, you sent him a text but he never responded. He didn't responded to MJ nor Ned either. You decided to visit his apartment if you don't have any news after some days. 

After some days, and no news from Peter, you and Ned decided to visit aunt May at her apartment. Once here you rang the door. After a couple of minutes, the door opened. You saw a really tired aunt May, yet she is smiling. "Oh you must be here for Peter, come on in." she said trying to act normally. You both got in and went to his room. You both got welcomed by what seemed to be a patched and plastered Peter. You assume he broke his arm. "Did you got in a fight again ?" you asked worried. Ned looked at you confused but said nothing. "Yeah sorry, it got bad this time, but I heal fast so it won't be that bad, and I'll come back to school soon !" he said happily. He seemed tired too. You didn't really believed him somehow, you felt like he was hiding something, but you had no proof. Then Ned asked why I said that Peter got in a fight again, so we explained it to him but without telling him about the sleep part. After that we chatted about everything and nothing, it was nice after all of what happened the last few days. Peter and Ned seem to avoid talking about doc Ock to not make you uncomfortable, which you appreciated. 

However at school it was just like a few month back, everyone would ask you questions, ask you how it was to be savec by spiderman again, asked if you knew him and more. It was truly annoying and you hoped people would stop soon. 

You hated thinking about what happened, about how powerless you felt, how scarred and how you couldn't protect the one you loved. You wanted to be stronger, to protect yourself and people you loved. So you started taking martial art classes, it was hard at first but you got better. You knew it would take some time for you to get really stronger, but you would do it, you were determined to do it. 

Also you couldn't help but feel uncomfortable about the fact that some villain know about Spiderman's true identity, even if doc Ock was in jail now, the possibility of the information leaking was there, and it was worrying, because then, him, and everyone he knows were in danger, that is why he hide his true identity. There is heroes that let people know their identity, like Iron Man, but, it was different. Spiderman wasn't a billionaire that can easily send one of his iron suit to fight a villain. 

You also wanted to know his true identity, and now it was too late for you to be protected from villains after what happened with doc Ock and all the medias. So he could show you his true identity, but maybe you weren't quite ready yet. You don't know how you would react if it was someone you knew. But for now, you'll have to get stronger.
