I went back to my room and started to lay down. As soon as my back hits the sheets, I hear Mrs Ebony yelling for us to get on the bus. The bus drive to school takes forever considering this orphanage is in the middle of nowhere.

"Come on guys! We need to hurry! it's 7:50 and you don't want to be late!" she directed all of us outside. I followed, but not to close to anyone.

"Hey freak!" I hear as I step onto the bus. it was Danny, the school's bully. And I had to deal with him every time I get on the bus. not even the kids at the orphanage talk to me the way he does.

"I hear that you want to kill us huh? Well that's not going to happen because a little anorexic twig like you can't even pick up a knife!" Danny said and I slapped him as hard as I could in the face, making him fall to the ground in shock.

"Hey hey hey!" I heard someone say as I felt arms around my waist pulling me back from attacking Danny. I turn my head and see Preston... okward (I spelled it wrong on purpose so don't kill me)

"Just calm down! He's not worth it. He's just a no good lying jerk who has nothing better to do then to bully others because his family doesn't give a shit about him. If they were drug attics, I'm pretty sure you would be at the orphanage too! Oh wait, they already are and in the next few days, I wouldn't be surprised to see you there!" he said yelling in his face.

Wow, he actually stood up for me. No one would ever do that for me.

Don't get too happy now, maybe he did it for everyone and not you...

"Come with me." Preston said as he grabbed me hand and made me sit with him in the back where nobody was. Everyone likes to sit in the front so they can get out faster.

"Look Chanel, people may not like you, but I don't. I find you.... interesting and oddly pretty." he said, looking me in the eye.
