Define maturity.
Because intelligence doesn't

If she's been hurt,
If she's been bruised,
Whether it's physically
Or mentally.
If she doesn't feel
Ok.
If she doesn't feel
Good enough.
If she doesn't feel
Alive.
She is more mature
Than anyone saying
"She's too young
To be depressed."
Because she has seen
Things.
Because she has felt
Things.
Because she has heard
Things.
Because she has lived
Through things.
Because
Age,
Intelligence,
And drama
Don't define maturity.
