Laxus X Natsumi

Once Laxus left the guild and out of hearing range, everyone from Natsumi team and some of the rest of the guild (mostly the girls) surrounded her and asked her many questions about what happen.

Natsumi Pov

"Hey Natsumi, why did you hug Laxus? I thought that you hated him?" Lucy asked me curiously.

" I thought I did but it didn't feel right. I mean part of me was mad at what he to the guild back then, but recently he's been trying to make up for the mistakes he did and is starting to be more open with the guild." I said to Lucy. The others also heard and started whispering to each other quietly.

"Ha, i bet he did that to be nice, Fire-brian. You know since he pitied you in the past and was a asshole too and still is." Gray said sarcastically. I looked u and glared a glare that would put Erza to shame. Gray notice and started to say something but I beat him to the punch.

" Shut up, Gray. He's trying to make his life better. I respect that and if he were to stumble on his path of retribution, then I would help him. Even if he didn't ask for help in the beginning of it. Sure he did some bad things in the past, but that doesn't make the person he is today. his past made him who he was in the past and now he is learning from his mistakes and becoming a better person for this guild. Do you see people judging you for your mistakes, or mine, or anybodies for that matter? No, so stop belittling him and grow up." I told him in a cold and angry voice. He looked at me shocked and so did the rest of the guild. Inside the guild everyone was quiet and the silence was deafening so I got up and left a bunch of shocked wizards behind. Once I was in the forest, I began to question as to why did everyone was shock. Sure I defended Laxus but to be shock like that is too much.

" Why was everyone so shock in the guild?" i asked to myself.

" Maybe because you spoke words that they didn't expect hearing from you." A deep and husky voice said behind me. I was surprised by the sudden action the I turned around and looked the voice who answered back at me.

" Laxus..."

Back at the guild

" Since when did Pyro learned to talk so mature?" Gray asked in shocked. Not only was he shocked at the Natsumi mature way of talking, but also throughout her speech she didn't call Gray any of the nicknames they come up with for each other.

" I must admit, I quite shock as well. Who knew Natsumi was so well verse in modern speech. I always that that she spoke childish, even when I taught her to read and write." Erza said by the counter eating her strawberry cheesecake. At that point everyone in the guild started to talk among themselves about Natsumi's behavior. The only ones that weren't discussing what had happen before was the Thunder Legion. (I hope this i what they are called. If not, plz tell me.) They were talking about what kind of mission they should take next time. When Erza saw this, she went up to them and asked what they were talking about.

" I mean next time the group go on a mission, for how long we should be out. Knowing our leader, it will probably be a while. Then again after that incident with Natsumi and her ex, he'll probably postpone the next mission by a few days or so." Evergreen said to Erza while fanning herself leisurely. The rest of the group nodded at her words.

" Weren't you shock as well since no one ever heard Natsumi speak that way to anyone before?" Erza asked incredulously.

This time wit was Freed who spoke. " Well no, because we already knew she could speak mature like that." He said nonchalant. Everyone was left shocked once again when they heard Freed words.

" You mean to tell me that all this time she knew how to speak like a normal human being and was just acting stupid the entire time?!" Gray said in anger. Next thing you knew, the Thunder Legion was around him and looking pissed off for some reason.

" I woundn't say that if I was you, Stripper. Natsumi was way smarter than you are in your entire lifetime combined." Bixslow said in a low voice. The other also gave Gray a silent confirmation at what Bixslow said. Gray looked like he was about to pass out from all the magic pressure put on him from the group. 'Is calling the Flame-brain stupid a taboo to them or what?' Gray thought to himself.

" Gray you shouldn't insult Natsumi, especially since you don't know her past." Master Makarov said in a serious voice. Everyone in the guild went quiet at this.

" Master if you could, may you tell us what you know about Natsumi's past since you know it?" Erza asked politely.

" I would if I could but I promised my word that I won't say anything unless she is ready to tell you or if she gives me the confirmation on the matter." Master Makarov said to quiet anymore questions.

" Then how about the Thunder Legion tell us since they know some of the Flame-brain secrets." Gray said angrily.

" I afraid to tell you this but we also gave our word to her that we would keep silent on this matter as well." Freed said as gently as possible. Everyone went in a uproar and tried to attacked them but knowing Freed, he set some runes to protect them from the masses and hold back the mob of angry mages. " I'm sorry to inform you but the runes will only go away if you do not attack us and give us your word that you would not ask Natsumi on her past. If you were to break this agreement my runes will tell me and we will go to whoever asked her and we will punish them. We told her that we keep her secrets until she tells us to tell you, the same as with Master Makarov." Freed told them calmly to them as well as settling any arguments as well.

" Freed is right. We should wait until Natsumi is ready to tell us by her own choice, not by us forcing her to." Erza said to mass of mages. " If I hear that you guys had asked her then I will join in with the Thunder Legion and dish out some punishment to those who still refuse to listen." Erza finished in a voice that promised pain. Nobody wanted to die that day so they all agreed and let the matter slide for now.

Back in the forest. Natsumi pov

" Laxus...." I said a whisper, but of course he heard me with his enhance hearing.

Laxus smiled at me and started to walk towards me silently. I was frozen in place, unable to move for nothing. He stopped in front of me only a few inches in between us. I had to look up to him since he is taller than me. I only reach up to little over his chin.

" Natsumi.... I'm sorry for this in advance." Laxus said in a soft voice that sent shivers down my spine. Next thing i knew I was wrapped in one of his arms the other went to my face. He tilted me face so that I could look into his eyes. What I saw there was a emotion I didn't expect to see from him. What I saw was his love for me and I bet he could see it back in my eyes. I don't know who started it but we ended up kissing each other at the same time. His lips fitted perfectly against mine and he tasted and smelled good as well. My arms went around his torso and held onto his back. The kiss stared out sweet but soon progress to a heated make out session in the middle of the forest. Soon, too soon to my liking if you ask me, we had to separate for air. Both of us were breathing heavily and my face was very flushed and looking like a tomato.

" Natsumi, I'm not very good with words, but would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend please?" Laxus said to me in a voice full love and hope. His eyes also showed the same emotions as his voice.

" Yes Laxus. I would like to be your girlfriend. I love only you Laxus and I'm very happy that you asked me. When I was with my ex at first I was happy, but at a certain point he stop hanging out with me and than today I saw him with another woman. At that point, I realized I didn't loved him like I thought. I realized I loved you the whole time. That's why I'm glad you asked me out today, Laxus." I said with a gentle smile to him. He blushed and smiled as well.

" I love you too, Natsumi. I will always love you, and I'm sorry for the way I acted in the past. I'll make it up for you in anyway you want. I don't ever want to hurt you again." He said to me in a hurt voice, remembering the past.

" Don't worry Laxus. I already forgiven you about that a long time ago." I said to him with a kiss. He kissed me back but we were interrupted by a sudden movement. We looked at who interrupted us, only to see the entire guild standing there shocked once again.
