Tony woke up, his phone going off with texts from the group chat. He couldn't bring himself to read them. He had cried most of the night last night, leaving his throat sore and his body exhausted. He got dressed, sighing as he looked at his disheveled face in the mirror. His thoughts were slow, and he felt like he was walking through sludge. He slowly walked to the kitchen, grabbing some food and his bag before forcing his body to move to the elevator. Weights pressed on his shoulders, making him slump as he made his way to Natasha's house. "I'm really leaving, aren't I?" He thought, his steps faltering as he considering going home and simply laying in his room for the rest of his time here. "You don't have to tell them today- but tomorrow, definitely tomorrow." He kicked a pebble, looking up as he reached the house. He put on a fake smile, stepping inside to see almost everyone already there.
"Hey look! It's Anthony!" Loki cheered with a smirk.
"Loki- stop with the name." Tony groaned, dropping his bag and walking over to sit down. He sat on the floor, slightly away from everyone. Stephen scooted over to him, planting a kiss on his cheek. Tony smiled softly, only feeling sadness inside of him. "Hey baby."
"Hi love." He saw Natasha grin out of the corner of his eye. She was laying with her head in Carols lap, the blonde playing with Nats hair.
"Ok, so uh, what should we do today?" Steve asked
"What's a game we could play?"
"What about paranoia?" Tony suggested
"What's that?"
"Ok so basically, we sit in a circle. I whisper a question to the person on my left, they answer it out loud, then we flip something. If it lands on heads, I tell everyone the question I asked, if it lands on tails, the person I asked asks the person on their left, the others don't get to know the question. Got it?"
"Yeah let's do this." The group got into a circle. Tony silently hoped that this would distract him. He leaned over to Stephen.
"If you had to adopt someone in the circle as our child, who would it be?" He whispered.
"Uh- why in the circle? Um- Wanda?" Tony watched the girl shift nervously.
"Wanda no reading minds." He flipped the coin, it landing on tails. "Alright babe go." He watched him whisper to Bruce, and Bruce think for a moment before saying.
"Steve." They flipped the coin, it landing on tails again.
"What? No I want to knowwww." Steve complained. "I don't wike it." Tony heard him mutter. Bruce leaned over to Loki, whispered.
"That's a horrible question. But uh- I suppose Tony." He got antsy, shifting in his seat as he watched the coin be flipped. It turned out to be heads, Tony letting out a breath of relief.
"The question was- if you had to date one of the guys in this room, who would it be." Bruce spoke, Loki looking down in embarrassment.
"I knew I was sexy." Tony smirked, Stephen slapping him. "Don't deny it."
"I Never was."
"Ok anyways." Loki leaned to Thor, Thor's eyes widening as Loki spoke.
"Loki- What goes on in your head?"
"A lot of shit brother." Loki smirked at Thor.
"Uh- Bruce?" They flipped the coin, the group groaning in annoyance when it landed on tails. Thor sighed with relief, turning to Clint.
"Natasha." He replied confidently. The coin landed on heads.
"If someone in this circle were to turn out to be a serial killer, who would it most likely be?"
"Clint I swear-" Natasha glared at Clint, Clint grinning back. Tony snapped a photo, snickering softly as the others laughed at the group. Clint leaned to Carol, who blushed as he asked the question.
"I Uh- Nat?" Another heads. Tony silently recorded, assuming it would be the only time he would see the two girls blush.
"If you got to have sex with anyone in the room who would it be." Tony had called it, watching Nats face heat up. Carol cleared her throat, ignoring Bucky whistling and Clint smirking at her as she moved on.
"Sam, Duh." Tails. Nat turned to Rhodey while Carol laughed at her answer.
"Vision." Another tails, Natasha looked mildly surprised. Tony was silently pondering what the questions could have been. Rhodey looked over at Wanda, asking her a question now.
"I have to go with Bruce." The coin was flipped
"Who could probably destroy the world if they wanted to." Bruce looked confused.
"You are very smart." She said in reply, turning to her brother. She whispered something, laughing at his facial expression.
"Stephen." They flipped the coin, Tony frowning at the tails, kinda wishing he would get a chance to make fun of his boyfriend. Pietro turned to Bucky, asking him a question.
"Huh, Sam." They flipped the coin.
"If the building was on fire, and you had to leave one person to die, who?"
"Wow. Thanks Barnes." Sam growled, Bucky smirking at him.
"Be civil." Steve sighed at the two, Tony, on the other hand, thought this was hilarious. He watched Bucky ask Steve, Steve responding with 'Tony.' He got antsy again, whining softly when it landed on tails.
"Not too much fun when you're paranoid yourself huh Tony?" Natasha smirked at him.
"Shut up." He looked over as Sam went.
"Wanda." They flipped the coin, Thor bouncing slightly like a excited puppy when it landed on heads.
"The question was, who's the strongest person in here." Wanda smiled at Sam, who tipped a fake hat. Sam looked at Tony.
"If you had to move and leave someone behind, who would it be?" Tony felt his throat go dry, his heart rate speeding up as tears welled slightly in his eyes. He cleared his throat, looking at the group. He met eyes with Rhodey, biting his tongue as his body threatened to cry.
"Tony? What's wrong?" He looked over at a worried Natasha
"Guys- I need to tell you something."
