School seemed to last 500 years. Tony practically cheered when the final bell rang and the group got up.
"Finally!" Sam exclaimed.
"About time." Tony grunted. "So where are we hanging out today?"
"There's a little cafe down the street that we could go to." Natasha suggested.
"Sounds good, lead the way Nat." Steve grabbed his bag and slung it over his broad shoulders, his other arm going around Bucky's shoulders.
"I'm not that much shorter than you Steve." Bucky grunted, shoving his hands in his pockets.
"Aw y'all are so cute." Nat hummed. Tony couldn't help but feel jealous. 'God if only I could just ask out Stephen.' He thought to himself.
"Alright can we just go?" Sam grumbled from the background.
"Yes, please." Tony hummed, his stomach growling. He caught a package of crackers that Natasha threw at him, opening it with a thankful smile. He ate silently as they walked.
"Shouldn't we all be talking?" Wanda spoke up.
"We're a huge group of 14 kids walking down the street, I'm not sure how we aren't." Bruce shrugged. Tony glanced around, Bucky and Steve talking quietly, Steve's arm still around Bucky. Natasha and Clint were talking like normal, there heads close together as they probably shared secrets. Tony drifted slightly closer to Stephen.
"So did anyone even pay attention in the last class?"
"I did, for the most part. Did you fall asleep or just zone out because you looked oddly peaceful." Stephen looked over at him.
"Oh I just zoned out. Why were you staring at me wizard?" He teased.
"I wasn't, I was simply making sure you didn't die." Stephen shrugged.
"Mhm." Tony hummed with his signature smirk. 'Dude just ask him out now-' before he could even open his mouth again Natasha announced that they were at the cafe. The group made it inside, everyone sitting down, now, like Tony expected, all 14 of them didn't fit in one booth, so a few people were sitting on the backs of the booths, those people being Nat, Clint, Loki, Thor, and himself. They started chatting, all drinking there respective drinks.
"So, Clint, how long have you known Nat?" Tony asked curiously.
"Uh, I want to say around 11 or so years." He said.
"Wow. Even Rhodey and I can't beat that."
"8 years and strong." Rhodey put in, raising his drink as Tony leaned across the booth to clink theirs together.
"You two are so extra." Steve shook his head.
"So are we pal." Bucky chuckled from his seat beside the supersoldier.
"Ooo get called out." Clint snorted, laughing.
"You're such a dork." Natasha shook her head fondly and the archer who had now fallen against her. Tony glanced at Pietro, noticing how he didn't even seem worried about Clint and Nats relationship. 'Interesting.' He thought.
They headed off to their own houses when the cafe closed, Tony walking with Rhodey like normal.
"So you still haven't asked Strange out yet?"
"No Rhodey! Every time I get the courage something interrupts." Tony flopped on the couch, frowning.
"Why don't you just call him or text him?"
"Because I have to do it in person."
"So just ask him to hangout."
"Alright Fine." Tony pulled out his phone.
Tin can: Hey Stephen
Magic man: hey Tony what's up?
Tin can: I was just wondering if you wanted to hangout tomorrow after school.
Magic man: Sorry I can't, I have to go see the ancient one after our training. Maybe another day?
Tin can: yeah that's fine. Hope you have fun.
Magic man; see you tomorrow Tony :)
Tin can: good night :)
Tony turned off his phone, unable to hide his disappointment.
"He said no?" Rhodey assumes.
"Yeah, said he had to see his like mystic arts teacher." He shrugged with a sigh.
"Well maybe another time. Get some rest Tony, we both know you need it." Rhodey Hugged him before walking upstairs. Tony turned to his bed, laying down and letting his thoughts take over him.

He didn't even realize it was 3rd block until the bell for lunch to end rang. The day was going awfully quick and they still had their new class instead of their normal 4th block class. Tony sighed and packed up his stuff, slinging his bag on one shoulder as the group made their way to class.
Everyone sat down and settled in like normal. Everything was normal until the teacher wrote two, horrible words, on the board.
"Field trip!" She announced. Half the class groaned, the others seemed somewhat interested. "It will be next week, pack for a weekend, we aren't telling you where we're going until the day of, so pack for all weather!" Tony sighed, mumbling something to himself.
"What? Not into field trips Tony?" Stephen asked.
"I travel too much to begin with, this is just old crap." He sighed. He felt Stephens hand on his shoulder and looked over.
"I'm sure it's gonna be fun Tony, just try and relax." Tony nodded, it was hard not to relax while looking into the wizards eyes. He looked away again, feeling the hand slowly move away from him. He watched as the teacher handed out permission forms and immediately forged his dads signature. He had gotten pretty good at it since he was always too scared to ask his dad to sign it. He had only gotten caught once, they left that place quickly anyways. The bell rang again, the teacher cheerily reminding them to 'not forget to get your permission form signed!" As they all flowed out.
"Time for our new class." Natasha hummed.
"Where is it?" Steve asked
"Shouldn't you know this as the leader Steve?" Tony teased.
"Hey your the leader too shorty so how about you find it." He responded.
"Alright Fine. Follow me." He spoke confidently, starting to walk in what he hoped would be the right direction. He eventually found it, the group stepping into the classroom as the bell rang.
"Ah, welcome, I heard Mr, Fury suggest you all to come." The teacher greets
"That he did, be prepared, we're a handful." Tony shrugged, walking to go sit down.
