This section will detail my experiences in a community fundamentally at war with itself. This is something which, while repeated the world over, is truly unique to this area.
I have seen and experienced many things. I've seen and heard phrases and words that will never leave me. I've seen the damage caused by conflict, the fake smiles and words concealing inner hatred. I've seen their memorials, I've seen their walls. They broke me. I travelled here to achieve much, but the reality is part of me died here - and I doubt I'll ever recover.
Nightfall is about my experiences, my inhibitions. I am surrounded by thousands of people but I am truly alone. I'm always alone. The dark thoughts are rising, my mind aches, sometimes I feel I want to break down and cry...
