once i looked around at my surroundings i was amazed. i was at the egde of the entrence of the woods, and a full moon was hovering over the sky making everything look like i was different shades of blue. taking a deep breath i felt free for the first time in years since i new what my gift was. feeling exelerated i held onto the front of my dress and ran. my dress looking almost black from the sky, drift behind me looking like shadows dancingaround me. mydarkhair falling out ofits neat bun fell down my back into ringlets flowingin the air behindme.
afterrunning about ten minutes i stoped abrutly. looked ahead of me i saw a opening in the the woods. stepping through the barrier i was in a meadow thatwascast blue from the night sky.flowers were everywhere with differents shades of black blue and purple. i steped into the middle of the meadow and took in my surroundings in awe. i have never seen anything so beautiful. sitting down i closed my eyes and took a deep breath smelling the roses i hummed my favorite llulaby my mom used to sing to me...
Gabriel's P.O.V (you should play the song at this point)
i can't stay in there anymore. i just got into the ball and i can't even breath. something must have happend in there before i came in cause there was a commotion going on and i did not want to sit in there andwatch. walking outside i noticed that the woods had an enchanted look to it. taking off my tux jacket i rolled up the sleves on my shirt and saw my marking for my soul mate. i hated it. i don't want someone to be choosen for me! i don't even want to be in a relationship. looking at the marking of a moon with shadows and intricate swirls surrounding it i started to feel sufficated. i losened my tie and headed towards the woods...
feeling calm and relaxed i saw a opening in the woods that lead into a meadow. talking a step forwardand stoped. my breath was taken away at the sight in front of me. there sat a girl with her dark dress spread out beneath her with her black hair hanging, in ringlets that looked like silk making me want to touch,down her back. her face was turned up towards the sky with a small smile playing on her pouty lips... she was humming a llulaby that drew me towards her but i couldn't move towards her, i didn't want her to stop humming. so i sat and listened to her as she took my breath away. she moved her hair to the side as if she was enjoying the cold air on her skin. then i saw what was happening. a soul mate marking was forming on her skin and i felt like my heart was going to shatter. i didn't like the fact that she belonged to someone else. when i turned away my marking started to tingle. i turned back towards her and looked at her marking closely, thats when i noticed the shadowed moon with intricate swirls form on ther shoulder blade. i looked at her face in awe.
".....all the pretty little horses..." taken back from her silk like voice was drawn towards her. still not noticeing me watchingher i saw like black shadows dancing around her like fog. stepping closer to her a twig snapped. her eyes snapped open and the shadows slowly drifted off. turning in my direction i saw her eyes and was lost. they were silver.the most unique eyes i have ever saw... i new she couldn't see me and was glad. i wanted to watch for now and hear her sing to her self. going back to humming her llulaby i wanted to give her something. using part of my powers i make a rose appear in front of her. this rose was different. it was just for her.
she looked down at the rose as it appeared in front of her. she gasped as it appeared in front of her. picking it up she looked at it and was in awe. it made my heart swell at the fact that she loved it..."this medow really is full of wonder..." she said softly looking around her surrounding and then turning her gaze back to the rose.
Alaina's P.O.V
looking down i saw a rose blossom before me. i was the most beautiful rose i have ever seen the outside petals were dark blue with a violet color blomming in the inside of the flower. the tip had a little bit of frost at the top giving it a sparkel. my breath was taken away at the sight of it. "this medow really is full of wonder."isaid to my self looking at mysurroundings checkingto see if there is anyone near watching me. i plucked the flower from the ground and lifted it up towards my face and the smell hit me like a tun of bricks. it was an intoxicating smelled that could sweep me off me feet.
"this is the most wonderful thing i have ever seen.." i said looking at the flower in amazement. that was until i saw someone step into the medow and my breath was taken away. before me stood the most gorgeouse man i have ever seen. his body was lean and musclular and his dark hair swept in front of his smokey blue eyes that shimmered under the moon light. he had and a stronge jaw line and lips that were so perfect that they drew me towards him i had to control my self. he was in all black. he had on black dress shoes, pants and a lose tie and black dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up showing his soul mate marking on his inner fore arm. seeing this left a sharp pain in my chest.
"what's your name?.." he asked huskly. taking my breath away again i looked up at him and spoke with a shaky voice.
"Alaina..." i said looking him in the eyes.
"thats a lovely name...i'm Gabriel..."
"Grabriel..." i said softly to myself liking way the name felt on my tongue. i looking into his eyes i saw an emotion that i never saw before...was it adortion and love?i mean i know what love is but this was a different love. not a love you get from your mom or dad, it was a deeper love that i have never witnessed.i don't know why but all i wanted to do was run into his arms and have him hold me forever....
