"Good morning love" Seokjin slowly squinted his eyes as he felt tingling touches from his forehead down to his chin
"Good morning princess" he groggily answered and pulled Sooyoung close to his body and buried his face at the crook of her neck inhaling her sweet natural morning scent which never fails to help him relax.
Sooyoung giggled and softly combed his soft hair with her fingers. "You should start preparing now or you'll be late for your meeting" she said but cuddled him anyways.
"Let them wait" he mumbled and kissed her neck. In the comfort of their shared bed and the coolness of the air conditioner, the couple had led back to their dreamland and fell asleep.
An hour or so Seokjin was first to wake up and carefully get out of the bed and starts preparing for another day at work. He was supposed to be early for his weekly company rounds where he visits every department and hear any uodates or any improvement of the company. Being the CEO of the family company, Kim Seokjin was trained how to manage the company at the young age and how to properly handle his people and treat them equally.
A few minutes passed before Sooyoung opened her eyes due to the uncomfortable knot she felt on her stomach. With big steps she vomited on the toilet bowl and wait until she felt better. Wiping her mouth by the sink. She slowly opened her night gown and rubbed her stomach
"Hey there little bub. Dad's gonna meet you later so be good to mommy okay" her heart felt full just by talking to her yet visible pregnant stomach. She just recently know of the big news after experiencing some symptoms a few weeks now and when she visits Dr. Sons' clinic yesterday, she reveived the great news and decided to surprise her dear husband over dinner.
And the days goes by with the sweethearts doing their respective jobs. With Seokjin handling the company and Sooyoung at the vet clinic where the two had met five years ago. Kim Seokjin was held reliable for Kim Yeontan, his brother's king of a dog when Taehyung was in a 'soul searching' adventure. Yeontan was scheduled for vaccine for that day when Sooyoung had purposely went out to greet her old friend but was shocked to see another man, a gorgeous one to say the least. And with Yeontan being all familiar with her was delighted to see the beautiful veterinarian. And their 'fateful' meetings continued when the two accidentally met at a coffee shop and decided to share tables then a few meetings at the mall and soon Seokjin was more than willing to bring Yeontan to the clinic and steal a few or more glances and chats with the youthful doctor.
A year of being friends, three and a half years being in a relationship and a few months engaged and hete they are a year of beautiful marriage.
"Hyung! You're going home?" Jungkook stood up seeing the male walking out of his office
"Yes. I have a wife waiting for me. Unlike you who only have his game consoles" he teasingly smiled and hit the young boy with the papers he was holding. "and besides I've been productive all day, not just staring at the intern" he laughed at his cousin who was just pouting.
"I'm also an intern here but why do I get to make heavy jobs?" he rumbled
"Cause grandpa says so" the elder just walked passed his cousin and bid goodbye to his secretary and told him to give Jungkook more work
"But sir, Yerim had already finished the 201 files the HR had asked her to do so" Hoseok, his secretary said
"Then let him clean the lobby. That kid turns to brattier as days passed by" after bidding farewell to the other employees Seokjin finally made his way to his car and finish the day with his lovely wife.
When Seokjin arrived he went immediately to the kitchen thinking his wife might be there, and true enough, Sooyoung dressed in her usual shirt and shorts, was busy preparing the table
"Hey beautiful" he snaked his arms around her torso and rests his chin on her right shoulder.
"Hey there too handsome" she smiled and turn her body to face him and snaked her arms at his neck. She look at his eyes adoringly and stole a kiss on his lips tiptoeing a little to reach his plump lips.
"How about you go up and change your clothes while I continue preparing here. hmm?" Seokjin nodded like an obedient child as Sooyoung tap softly his head. Pecking one last kiss to her, then he went off to their room and change.
After a few minutes he got back to the kitchen and saw Sooyoung putting the last plate on the table and giggled at him.
"Dinner is served" grab his hands and have him sit on his chair.
"So how was your day babe?" Seokjin ask after they say their graces.
"The usual, just a few puppies having their vaccine shots and nothing else, she shrugged her shoulders. How bout you?"
"Signed papers, scold Jungkook for spacing out return to sign documents and a meeting" he answered and feed her his pork
"Let that poor boy be. He's having a crisis babe" she laughed and stood up to fetch them their juice.
"He's been staring at the new intern the whole freaking hour and he got loads of papers to run through" he sighed and drank.
"Juice? Not wine for tonight huh?" he smirked and grab her hands and kiss the finger which rests their wedding ring and trace his kiss to the back of her palms.
"Do you want wine instead?" she ask and was about to stand up but he stops her "this is enough babe" he smiled.
"Oh babe what do you think about spending our anniversary at Japan?" he ask wanting to have her opinion for their first year anniversary of their marriage which would happen in a few weeks. Sooyoung faked an thinking face and soon giggled rubbing her palms at her stomach
"We would love that!" she exclaimed looking carefully at her husbands face trying to check his reaction
"We? You and me?" he ask, she just laugh it off and stood up and pick the little box which was hidden at the empty chair next to hers and handing it to him. He was rather confused at first but still opened the box
"Not you silly, me and our baby" she said
Seokjin was still in a state of shock. His eyes were changing from her to the pregnancy stick and when it slowly sink in he laughed and stood up. Raising his hands in the air yelling "Yes! I'm a father" multiple times. Sooyoung could only laugh at her husband and continue rubbing her stomach.
"Babe, you don't know how much you make me happy" he kneeled down in front of her and hugged her tight. Sooyoung taps his shoulders and kiss the side of his head.
"You made me happy babe, thanks for giving me a family. Our family" she whispered and soon enough she felt teardrops on her shoulders. She laughed sensing how emotional he had become. "It's me who should be thanking you that babe" he chuckled and break free from the hug and face her. "I love you Park Sooyoung." he kissed her lips and then crouch down to her stomach level, rubbing her clothed stomach.
"Hey there buddy" he lifted her shirt causing her to stiff at the sudden air hitting her bare stomach but soon relaxed when Seokjins warm hands enveloped her bare tummy. "it's daddy!" he exclaimed trying to put his ears at her stomach
"Yah, the baby isn't that fully formed yet" she giggled and stroked his hair while his head was on her stomach level. "but it's good for them to feel our love even when they are still small" he childishly. "Daddy loves you baby" he kissed her stomach. "I love you too daddy!" she said in a baby voice and laugh at her antics.
"This is the best gift I've ever received Babe. Thank you so much!" he said and once again captured her lips.
