Ten loved the snow. Watching the white flakes fall softly to the ground always made him smile. Today it was extra pretty outside in his opinion. The snow clung to the branches of the trees in his yard and the atmosphere was so peaceful he'd go as far as to say it was heavenly.

All of his neighbors seemed to share the same feelings as him, they were all sat by their window or on their porch enjoying the view. The scene was just too beautiful to barge into and interrupt.

After a while of enjoying the day, Ten noticed that someone had finally decided to get out into the snow. That someone being his best friend, Hendery, who was currently attempting to run through the snow to his house.

Although Hendery had thrown off the calm atmosphere, Ten didn't mind. It was actually quite funny watching the other man trying it to fall while trudging through the winter weather. Ten didn't know whether to laugh or cringe when Hendery slipped on a patch of ice hidden under the snow. He figured he should probably walk out and help him up before he ends up hurting himself again.

Not wanting to put forth effort to find his coat, he wrapped a blanket around his shoulders and made for the door. Stepping outside, he saw that Hendery had already managed to sit up and was on his phone, trying to shield it from the snow.

"Oh hey, Ten. I was about to text you to come help me." He laughed, flashing his heart-melting smile.

Ten felt his heart flutter seeing the younger man smile at him. He had had a crush on Hendery for quite the time now, but he would never admit that to him of course. Pulling himself from his thoughts he walked to the man on the ground and offered him his hand to help him up. Hendery took it muttering a thanks as he stood up.

Ten found it a bit odd when Hendery didn't let go of his hand after standing up, but considering his feeling for him he certainly wasn't going to complain.
"By the way, are you okay? I forgot to ask a minute ago." Ten restarted their conversation before he could overthink the hand in his.

"Yeah, fell on my ass so that's probably bruised, but other than that everything's good."

"Aw, want me to take a look at it for you?" Ten said jokingly, wiggling his eyebrows at his friend.

Hendery's face grew red hearing his statement but Ten brushed it off assuming it was from the cold wind. He looks so cute with his face all red like that Ten thought, gazing up at the flushed taller man in front of him.

"Maybe we should go inside, it's cold. Your face has already gotten all red from being out here." Ten said before pulling the other boy by their still connected hands towards the door.

As soon as they got inside, Hendery shook all of the snow flakes in his hair air out like a little kid, causing Ten to laugh at him. Cute Ten thought before going back to his original seat in his kitchen, beside the window. The other man followed him, taking up residence in the seat beside Ten's. It was Hendery who broke the silence between them this time. "Days like this always remind me of you." He said shifting his eyes from the window to the man beside him before continuing. "They always feel so comfortable and homey no matter where you are. They make me all happy and excited for everything no matter what I have to do that day. They're absolutely perfect, just like you." Hendery finished, the last part barely above a whisper in the hopes that Ten wouldn't actually catch it.

Unfortunately for Hendery, Ten did hear everything he said which is why he turned to the previously mentioned man looking very confused. "What do you by that?" Ten asked in the hopes that the other meant it romantically and not in some dramatic declaration of friendship or something.

Well, I already started so I guess I've just got to go for it now Hendery thought, sighing before turning to Ten, grabbing his hand and opening his heart to him. "Look, I like you as more than a friend and I have for a long time now. It hurts so much seeing you all the time and not being able to kiss you or tell you I love you or even just have the chance to call you my boyfriend. I don't even really know if you feel the same or not but I needed to tell you."

Ten sat there in shock for a minute, trying to comprehend that he wasn't dreaming and his long time crush was actually confessing to him. Hendery being Hendery was of course assuming that the other mans silence meant that he was about to be rejected, but he still waited and hoped that Ten would have a positive response.

Instead of the responses Hendery was expecting, Ten just smiled at him before leaning forward and closing the gap between them. Hendery immediately melted into the kiss, cupping the other mans jaw while his other hand was still holding Ten's tightly. It was a soft and loving kiss, free of lust or need, it was everything both of them had wanted for so long.

When they pulled apart they were both grinning at each other, perfectly content with what had just happened. "So I guess that means that you do like me." Hendery laughed.

"Of course I like you, idiot. I always have." Ten confessed. "So about that whole wanting to call me your boyfriend thing, I kinda want to do that too, so can we make that official?"

"Of course we can, my beautiful boyfriend." With that they both went back to enjoying the view from the window with newly added beaming smiles adorning their faces.
