The night sky looked breathtaking as it glittered with millions and millions of diamonds adding to the entire beauty of the darkness that screamed for people's attention.

Seokjin was woken up at this unexpected hour and he took this opportunity to gaze out the window into the night sky. But somehow the view his window offered wasn't enough, he had to go out to truly appreciate the beauty of nature and how all of it was so mesmerizing. He stepped into his slippers and carefully walked out of the room, careful to not wake his grandmother up.

Once outside Seokjin began walking mindlessly around the capital. His eyes glistening with the reflection of stars in them. Swimming with the stars and dancing with the darkness, Seokjin began enjoying his little journey. This was the perfect time to explore the capital some more, to get to know each and every corner, to familiarize himself with each drop of rain that had fallen earlier today.

Soon the once clear sky hid itself in the blanket of thick black clouds and one by one little droplets of rain started falling. Once noticing a few drops fall on his head, Seokjin looked towards the sky and closed his eyes, letting the fallen drops caress his face and bring peace to his mind. Seokjin let his lips pull up into a smile. He was the kind of person that enjoyed the happiness rain brought with it. He could get lost in it.

Pulling himself to a stop, Seokjin found a stone bench sitting under an oak tree, the huge tree preventing the bench from getting wet. Seokjin went over and sat himself down on leaning against the thick wood of the tree. Sitting there Seokjin began aimlessly looking at the lavenders scattered around him, he leaned down and his fingers grazed the beautiful majestic purple flowers wearing a necklace of raindrops with the reflection of stars in them, looking like pearls. The softness of the petals against his fingertips was endearing while the scent of fresh wet grass heightened his senses.

"Father!" A laugh erupted from the man's chest as he chased his son down the small hill nearing the lake.

Seokjin's ears echoed with a high pitched giggle making him smile at the memory. His mind now hazy with all the good times he had spent with his family, the way his father would chase him down the hill near his house, the way he would make him laugh, the way he would carry Seokjin on his shoulders and the way he would take Seokjin to swim in the lake near their house.

He also remembered the way his mother would make him his favorite food, how she would scold Seokjin because he often stayed up late or would leave the house to truly appreciate the nature. Something he still does.

Shaking his head to get rid of the memories, Seokjin got up from the bench and began his stroll around the capital once again. By this time the rain had stopped again and all that was left was the soft breeze blowing through his hair. His still wet body shivered with the cold but Seokjin couldn't bring himself to care. This was the type of crisp air he always loved.

He closed his eyes breathing in the brisk air whilst still walking, soon Seokjin felt himself be hit with a force so firm it had him stumbling backwards. Shutting his eyes tightly now, Seokjin could feel himself falling backwards but the warmth of two strong arms engulfing his small waist and pulling his body towards a hard chest prevented him from falling. Seokjin's face was now buried in the stranger's neck. His scent so musky, it had Seokjin's head spinning wildly.

Pulling away from the stranger, Seokjin was ready to apologize. It really was his fault that he was not looking. As soon as Seokjin opened his eyes, he was met with the most glorious sites. The moon shone brightly down on the man, making the brown orbs appear more in depth as if hiding away a mystery but at the same time the stars shone in them making the hooded eyes appear sphinxlike. The rest of the man's face was hidden away by a piece of the finest silk whereas his hair framed his perfectly shaped face. The man's hands were still around Seokjin's waist.

Quickly staggering backwards, and pushing the man's arms away, Seokjin couldn't help but let a blush spread from his head to his neck, silently thanking the dark night.

"I- my apologies, sir. I was not paying attention to my surroundings," He bowed his neck in respect but what appeared to be more of an attempt to hide his now red face.

"No need to apologize, it seems as if the only thing you were paying attention to was your surroundings, I just happened to be a distraction, no?" His voice so deep it could put the deepest of oceans to shame and the way the man spoke radiated a powerful aura and the slight tease in his tone had Seokjin's face flushing redder. Before he could say anything, he was interrupted by that deep voice again.

"May I ask what is a man so young such as yourself doing here at this time of night, perhaps you are lost?" His velvet like voice was perfectly in contrast with the harsh wind.

"Ah no, sir, I have not lost my way. I was just taking the advantage of this cold night to have a walk around the capital," The words came out chilly just as the night was reminding Seokjin how cold he was.

"You are new here I assume?" The stranger whose name Seokjin still had not learnt raised an eyebrow almost amused. For all he knew, this man could be a bandit wanting to murder Seokjin right here after learning he didn't know his way around the capital despite this, Seokjin found himself nodding his head.

"Then may I have the honor to show you around?" Backing away from the stranger, Seokjin earned himself another eyebrow raised in amusement and the man's eyes flashed with a glint of emotion Seokjin couldn't decipher yet.

"I- I don't think so, sir. I think I will head home now. A-although I appreciate your kind offer," Seokjin began walking backwards keeping his hands in front of him as if they would save him from the stranger. A chuckle escaped the man's lips as he watches Seokjin almost run away. The deepness in his voice had Seokjin shocked.

"I am no bandit and I certainly do not wish to abduct you right now. I, myself, was taking advantage of the peaceful night to appreciate the beauty of nature." The still unknown man assured Seokjin and watched and he came to a complete stop, not so far from the stranger.

"Well, forgive me for misunderstanding you again but for all I know you can still be deceiving me." This earned Seokjin another laugh before the man turned around and started walking away.

"Goodbye then, stranger." With that the man disappeared into the darkness as if he was not even there in the first place and Seokjin was left staring into pitch darkness.

"Goodbye, stranger." he whispered and silently made his way back home.
