As I stood nervously in front of Sarasota High School, my heart pounded in my chest. The summer had come to an end, and the thought of starting my freshman year at a new school was both exciting and daunting. The enormous building loomed in front of me, filled with countless faces I had yet to become familiar with.Taking a deep breath, I adjusted my backpack strap and ventured inside the bustling hallways. The high school was abuzz with energy as students greeted old friends and explored their new schedules. I weaved my way through the crowd, my eyes scanning for my first class: English Literature.Soon enough, I found myself standing outside room 215, my heart pounding once again. I muttered a soft prayer under my breath and gently turned the doorknob. Stepping inside, I saw a room full of students already seated and chatting away. The teacher, Mrs. Smith, stood at the front, organizing papers on her desk.

Feeling all eyes on me, I quietly made my way to a vacant seat towards the back of the room. I instinctively chose a desk by the window, hoping that someday I could find solace in the view.Just as I settled into my seat, a girl with vibrant red hair turned around and greeted me with a warm smile. "Hey there! You must be new. I'm Lily," she said, extending a hand.I smiled back, grateful for the friendly face.

"Hi, I'm Starri. Nice to meet you."

As Lily introduced me to a few more classmates, the bell rang, signaling the start of the class. Mrs. Smith silenced the room with a gentle tap on her desk.

"Good morning, class! I hope you all had a great summer. Today, we are going to dive into the world of literature and explore some of the greatest stories ever told," Mrs. Smith announced, her enthusiasm filling the room.I felt a spark of excitement within me. English Literature had always been my favorite subject, and I couldn't wait to immerse myself in the captivating world of words once more.

As the class progressed, I found myself engaged in lively discussions and debates with my classmates. Their passion for literature was infectious, and before I knew it, the hour had flown by.With a newfound confidence, I bid farewell to Lily and my new friends as I hurried to my next class, biology.

Through the maze of hallways, I found myself standing outside room 308, ready to tackle the intricacies of the natural world.Stepping inside, I received a warm welcome from my bio teacher, Mr. Johnson. The classroom was filled with microscopes, models, and specimens, all promising to unravel the mysteries of biology.I took a seat by my lab partner, Jack. He seemed friendly and eager to learn. Mr. Johnson began the class by discussing the wonders of photosynthesis and how it sustains life on our planet. The concept fascinated me, igniting a curiosity within me.

Throughout the class, I eagerly participated in experiments, dissections, and discussions. Biology challenged me to think critically, observe the world around me, and understand the complexities of life. It was like unraveling a captivating puzzle, bit by bit.As the day progressed, I began to feel a sense of belonging. I enjoyed the thrill of navigating the hallways, meeting new people, and discovering my passion for different subjects. It was a whirlwind, but I embraced every moment with open arms. After my last class, I made my way to the school cafeteria. It was buzzing with energy and the aroma of freshly cooked meals. I joined a group of students at a large table, engaging in conversations about our interests, hobbies, and aspirations. The laughter and camaraderie made me feel like I was part of something bigger. I knew I was going to be apart of something big.

As I entered the World History classroom, I was immediately transported back in time to the grandeur of ancient Mesopotamia. The classroom was designed to emulate the architectural style of the era, featuring elements inspired by Mesopotamian structures. The walls of the classroom were adorned with decorative motifs commonly found in Mesopotamian art. Intricate reliefs depicting scenes of daily life, mythical creatures, and important historical events adorned the plastered surface. The relief carvings were carefully crafted to capture the essence of Mesopotamian artistry and to transport students into the world of ancient civilizations. The ceiling, supported by wooden beams, mimicked the traditional vaulted and domed structures seen in Mesopotamian architecture. The wooden beams were intricately carved with patterns inspired by ancient relief sculptures found in temples and palaces. Suspended from the ceiling were clay oil lamps, providing a soft, warm glow reminiscent of the flickering lights used in ancient Mesopotamia. At the front of the classroom, stood a large wooden lectern, adorned with carvings of various Mesopotamian symbols and motifs. The lectern resembled a miniaturized ziggurat, echoing the towering stepped structures found in Mesopotamian cities. It served as a focal point, grounding the classroom in the symbolism of Mesopotamian architectural styles. The desks and chairs were crafted from dark, polished wood, similar to the furniture used by scribes and scholars in ancient Mesopot
