He paused, his fist inches from making contact with my face, with him dumbfounded.

"What was that?" Clearly asking about the actions I was showing, Kamin decided to hide whilst the Man of Steel stood in his confusion.

"I yield. Restrain me. You win the Earth," As I kept talking, he only grew more confused. Another figure drove up in a land vehicle. It was another person my father had trouble with from time to time, The Batman. He got out of his vehicle and stood next to Superman.

"It shouldn't be this easy to take him in like this," The Batman says. Clearly signifying his cold and calculating thoughts. I ignore it and look straight into his eyes.

"It seems like Father's thoughts and plans are well known to you." What I said seemed to surprise everyone except The Batman, granted they had not met me and only the other three.

"That's what I'm trying to figure out, why you would give up, you are a minion of Darkseid, so why give up? Defeat means worse than death, and that's why everyone we faced under Darkseid would rather die than go back empty-handed," He says so coldly like I had not known, I reply to set the record straight.

"First, I am his son (N/n). And second, your world intrigues me." They simultaneously look at each other, possibly both having the same thought, that being to stay on your guard. The Batman then puts some type of shackle on me, most likely to suppress any powers I might have. Take no chances, what a powerful tactic. As they escort me to where I assume they will be holding me, I remember something and make it a point to let them know.

"Hold, there is someone that I had come here with me, an attendant of mine," They stop in their tracks, and I go ahead to search for the one I came with.

"Kamin, come, reveal yourself," She comes out of hiding and runs towards my side clutching to my very being. I then look at the world's finest and tell them what is needed. "No one is to harm her. She is my property and I will not have someone scratch my property." I urged them. They looked at each other and confirmed with me that she would be in safe hands. Just then another hero, Wonder Woman I believe, came to assess the situation. The two quickly informed her and she appeared just as surprised, she took hold of my hands. And off I went.

Superman POV

I was stunned. A minion from Darkseid turned himself in. Not only a minion but one of his sons. I then remember what he said about the girl. I see where he once stood and see a Klakman, trembling. I don't get it, Apokolips is a place that covets the strong, fearless, and loyal to Darkseid this girl is none of those, so why did he choose her? I looked to Batman to get an answer.

"I think I've got an answer, I'm sure he won't mind," From that point, I wondered who he meant. But for now, I have to make my way to the Watchtower and begin the interrogation.

Timeskip (N/n) POV

I had been in this clear-walled cell for what seemed like weeks. That has given me time to think and reflect.

"Wake up," Batman calls, with Wonder Woman by his side. She has a key component to finding the truth, that lasso. She tied it around me and they were ready to ask their questions.

"Why are you here?" The first one they always repeat, I'm so tired of it I tell them what I always answer with. To conquer this world for Darkseid.

"Why did you recruit a small girl by your side?"

"She is strong," By this, they were certainly surprised but went with the answer I gave them anyway considering the circumstances.

"Why did you give up?" A simple question. Though. how simple is the answer? To think it would be mentally taxing to answer.

"I do not know," I answered truthfully enough "I guess only time will tell." Hopefully, that was enough of an answer for the subject.

"Why should we trust you?" That is a stupid question.

"Besides the fact that I have a supposed magic rope tied to me, that compels me to tell the truth? You should not." I say bluntly. "The fact of the matter is that I am still his blood and that is what you can not trust." They sat quietly, waiting for more to come out of my mouth. "Though I will tell you this. It is in your best interest to have me on your side than against you."
