Back to Kurama

“KURAMA YOU PIECE OF SHIT WHERE ARE YOU” my father yells angry followed by more things breaking. I cover my ears with my hands, by now my breathing has become heavy and the tears are running down nonstop. How much longer do I need to keep this up, my phone rings, luckily my father doesn’t hear it over his yelling. I look at the caller Ichino, I’m confused for a second but when I hear yet another angry yell from my dad I pick up. “Kurama, we’re on are way to your house now as i speak. Are you still hiding?” his calm voice comes through the device “I’m still hiding but he’s close to discovering where I am” I reply shaky “Good , where are you hiding?” “The bathroom” “Where is that? Which window from which perspective?” “The second floor, the window on the right from the back side of the house”.  Out of nowhere I hear my father banging loudly on a door close to me, my breathing becomes faster. “Ichino, where are you guys?” I ask him while I’m panicking “We’re almost there, hold on a little longer” “I can’t, he’s way too close” “Kurama please try to calm down a bit” “Ichino, please I can’t. I’m scared” “I get that, but try to do it” “H-how?” “Take some deep breaths in and out” I do as he says. “Kurama, we’re here listen you need to get up, open the window and jump” “Y-you want me to jump?” “There’s no other way to get you out of there. Minamisawa will catch you don’t worry”. It’s silent for a minute before Ichino speaks again “Do you want to get out of there Kurama?” “y-yes” “then do as I said and jump. You’re hiding from your drunken abusive dad, jumping out of a window is not really the scariest thing right now is it?”

“YOU’RE IN THE BATHROOM AREN’T YOU!!” I hear my father yell, not long after that the door starts to tremble. I back away until my back is against the opposite wall, the tears are back and my breathing becomes heavy again. “Judging from the noise he found out where you are. If you don’t jump now we can’t do anything anymore, you need to decide now” “I’m gonna die” i mumble crying, it’s getting hard to breath and black spots start to appear in my vision. “Kurama calm down, listen get up from the floor and jump now. We’re right here but you have to come to us” I get up shakely and walk to the window “Ichino…” “Are you going to jump?” “Y-yes” “Okay Minamisawa is ready, you can jump”

Before I realise it, I’m already falling down, I close my eyes in fear as I hear the bathroom door breaking. Then i feel strong arms wrap around me and another hand on my back “You did good Kurama” I hear Ichino say. I look over my shoulder, through my tears and the black spots I can make out Ichino his face. “Now we need to get away from here as quick as we can” I vaguely hear Sangoku say, I feel other hands wrap around me. This time there bigger than the other ones, carefully I’m lifted up “Woah, you’re trembling like crazy, try to calm down Kurama” I hear Amagi say. Slowly they start to walk away as quietly as they can. I feel the stress leaving my body and exhaustion is slowly taking over, my fever is still there. I’m beginning to slip away, the voices of the guys are only vague background noises. I let myself fall in a deep sleep, to exhausted from all the stress and my fever.
