(Maddie's POV)
I woke up in a hospital bed. My body was sore. Wait where's Mitch?! Oh no no no where is he. I need to find out what happened. I push the emergency button but then I feel bad cause it wasn't really a emergency. A nurses came rushing in. "What's wrong?"
"I was wondering if my boyfriend, Mitch Hughes, was here and if he is is he ok?"
The nurse frowned. Something was wrong. "Um your boyfriend... he's in a coma mam."
What the hell? Mitch is in a coma?! It's all my fault! I blame myself! I need to talk to someone. Hmmm Jerome? Mitch gave me his number just in case.
The nurse was still there. Whoops
"Oh umm thank you for telling me"
"Your welcome, and you can discharge when your ready mam"
"Thank you"
She left and shut the door. I grabbed my phone and texted Jerome.
Me: Jerome it's Maddie
Jerome: What's up Maddie!
Me: I'm in the hospital and Mitch is in a coma!
Jerome: WHAT!
Me: Can you come here Plz...
Jerome: yea what hospital?
Me: I'm at (..........)
Jerome: ok I'll be there in a couple
Me: k come quickly
I turned off my phone and waited. Then Jerome came into my room.
"Oh my gosh what the hell happened?"
"Um my ex kidnapped us then beat us"
"What?!"
"You heard me!"
"I'm just shocked... sorry"
"It's ok I'm sorry too"
"So when do you get discharged?"
"When I'm ready"
"Ok you want me to drop you off at your house?"
"Yea thanks"
We called a nurse to help un hook me from all the wires. I wasn't allowed to see Mitch yet but I could the next day.
In the car ride me and Jerome talked about everything. Minecraft, Youtube even Mitch. When we arrived at my house he walked me to my door. We were close for a second but then I opened my door to go inside. "Bye Jerome thanks for the ride!"
"Your welcome and call me when you need to"
"K thanks" I rand to my room and jumped into my bed. I was sooo tired I could sleep for a month.
